    Stand Firm - Nehemiah 2

In Nehemiah 2, we see how God uses ordinary positions to open extraordinary doors. Nehemiah was just a cupbearer—but his faithfulness in the small things prepared him for a supernatural mission. In this episode of the Stand Firm series, we break down how to build a reputation that becomes a hedge against darkness, how to step boldly into God’s provision, and how to give Him the glory when success comes. This chapter is packed with practical lessons for men who want to stand firm in a world that’s soft and shaky.

  2. 31

    Stand Firm - Nehemiah 1

In this Stand Firm series installment, we turn to Nehemiah 1—not to highlight his accomplishments, but to uncover the man behind them. Too often, we admire strong men of God for what they do while overlooking who they are. Nehemiah reminds us that lasting impact begins with unseen character, not public action. In this episode, we break down the qualities that made Nehemiah a man worth following and explore how young men today can build the same kind of foundation—one that fuels courage, conviction, and Kingdom purpose. If you’re a man of God who desires to stand firm and do great things with your life, this message will challenge, encourage, and equip you for the journey.

    Stand Firm - Psalm 63

In this episode of Mission Made, I am getting a new podcast segment started called stand firm. Stand firm is time to focus on the word - think about it like a mens bible study that you get to be apart of. We read the scripture, think about what it means, and how we can apply it to our lives as men to be valiant men of God, not weak and wimpy boys. In this inaugural episode of the segment, we are covering Psalm 63. Next week we dive into Nehemiah 1.

Become A CHAMPION In Life Through An Eternal Mindset

Sitting on the beach with toes in the sand and waves crashing at my feet, I found myself thinking about life’s big decisions—specifically, the tension of building a home when the numbers don’t quite add up. In this episode, I share a raw reflection on what it means to lead with wisdom, to see beyond the fear of the moment, and to make decisions today that shape the decades ahead. We’ll talk about the difference between reacting to the waves at your feet versus lifting your eyes to the horizon—and eventually, even higher. This isn’t just about money or houses; it’s about eternity. Because when your eyes are set on what’s above, everything at your feet starts to make a lot more sense.Whether you're facing uncertainty or just trying to live with purpose, I hope this episode helps you breathe, look up, and walk forward with peace.

How McDonalds Kiosks Bring Crazy Truth About Isolation

In this episode of Mission Made, we explore how a simple shift in fast food—McDonald’s self-service kiosks—reveals a powerful spiritual truth. Just like people are more likely to indulge in private at a kiosk, the enemy uses isolation to make us vulnerable to sin. Host, Kyle Hammers, breaks down how Satan strategically separates us from community and accountability—and what Scripture says about staying spiritually connected. You’ll learn why isolation is dangerous, how to recognize it in your life, and three practical ways to fight back and walk in the light. If you’re serious about growing in faith, leadership, and living with purpose, this episode will help you stay rooted in truth and surrounded by the right people. Keywords: Christian podcast, spiritual isolation, accountability, faith and leadership, Proverbs 18:1, Christian community, Mission Made podcast, overcoming temptation, discipleship, spiritual growth

I almost MESSED UP - Business Lessons Learned

Lessons lately. Most of the lessons that we have to share, stem from some sort of short coming. We can usually share the lesson from the short coming once we process the failure and regain our footing. In that case, we share the lessons from the perspective of "I used you... xyz"However, this lesson is not something that I have recovered from yet. Will I recover and the situation work out? Maybe, but I am not sure yet. I will keep you posted on that. I am here today to share the lesson learned, while in the middle of situation. This is me raising my hand and telling you that I just about screwed up. The lesson can be summed up by this.."Sometimes you can't afford NOT to..."Listen to the entire episode to get the details.

    Your Sacrifice Is NEVER Wasted

Today on Mission Made I am flying solo! I talk about how your sacrifice is never wasted when we are sacrificing for the Lord. I was reminded of this recently on the tail end of not being as committed to my quiet time with the Lord as I should. I got right before the Lord and sacrificed something I wanted to do, to prioritize time with him. He met me there, and my cup was filled. CrossFit Games Athlete Jack Rozema Serves God and Country

On this episode of Mission Made I got the opportunity to talk with someone who has taken CrossFit by storm over the last few years. He made his first Games appearance in 2024, after being on the cusp of making it for several years. Besides calling his shots in high level competitions, he has done a lot of cool things adding to his resume. After being declined into West Point, he landed at Ohio State University as a wrestler. He later became an attorney and started practicing for the Army, where he currently serves. Those all sound like incredible accomplishments, and they are. But what is even more admirable about Jack is his heart of Jesus. You can tell through our conversation that Jesus is number 1, and everything else follows. This actually allows him to be the best husband, father, soldier, and athlete that he can. Jack is living out the mission. Support Mission MadeFollow Jack on InstagramKyle's InstagramKyle's Website

When The Plan Changes, SEEK GOD

On this short episode of MM, I talk about how when things don't go as planned, there is probably a reason. God's has never been caught off guard by the things that seem like roadblocks or distractions in our life. I believe that if we can have the wisdom to LOOK AROUND and SEEK GOD in those times that the plan changed (or things didn't go as planned...), we can see how God wants to use us in those situations. Tips For Improving Fitness As An "Everyday Athlete"

The mission that I talk about so much involved being the best athlete as possible. This requires an athlete mindset. Most of you understand what I mean by that, but if you don't then we need to take you back to high school. 5 Tips to Bulletproof Your Spiritual Training Disciplines

On this episode, I dive into 5 tips to make sure your spiritual training disciplines happen consistently. We love training physically. I believe there is even a calling to train physically. But even more than important than physical training, is spiritual training. With spiritual training, there is value not just for this age but the age to come (1 Timothy 4:8). Here are some tips that have worked really well for me.  I believe that if you commit yourself to these tips, it will 100% improve your consistency in spiritual disciplines like reading God's word. Here they are:1) Get a solid devotional that will help "kick start" your Bible time and point you to God's word. 2) Set a 1 rep minimum, or the standard that you are committed to uphold REGARDLESS of what life throws at you. 3) Find men to commit to God's word with you. These men will both motivate you by their discipline and they will hold you accountable to stay on the path. (habit share is a great resource)4) Own it when you don't show up, or you miss a day. The "red x" will help you stay on the path if you own it. 5) Value God's Word. 1-4 were all external, practical tips. This one is internal. I can't tell you how to do this. But this must be true. Do what you need to do, to get yourself to a place where you value God's word. BONUS: Carve some time each week to reflect on your time. Daily discipline will produce great fruit in us over time. However, with daily discipline, it is easy for routine to set in. We don't want to make our time with the Lord just a check on our list. Carving time to make sure that isn't happening will help you not only stay disciplined, but also get the most out of your discipline. If this is helpful, please share it with a friend. We need more men who are committed to growing with God's word. Support Mission Made

YOUR MISSION is MORE Than a Smile

Welcome back! One thing I have noticed in the past is that when God prompts me to do something that is uncomfortable, Satan is always there to offer a substitute or compromise. If the Lord prompts me to share a word or action with someone, satan may say something like, what if you just smile at them instead? While a smile may be a good start, it isn't the whole pie. When we throw the "whole TEAM" at people, we can go the extra mile to connect with them. I promise, you have more to offer people than you even realize. And this is your friendly reminder that THE MISSION and YOUR MISSION is MORE than a smile.
