Title: Pursing Good News Text: John 3:1-18, 19:38-42 Summary: All of humanity is on a journey to discover purpose, meaning, and joy. The journey will always come back empty and void until we pursue Jesus. Bottom line: Jesus is the answer to your question.

In the uncertain times that we live in, the church needs to be reminded that our joy comes from the Lord. Psalms 33 not only reminds us of that truth, but also tells us to trust in his word, his sovereignty, his watchfulness and finally, in his mercy.

Series: Let's Go! Title: The Ultimate Invite Text: Isaiah 1:18-20 Summary: You and I will receive many invitations in life but there is none quite like God's invitation to come and sit at His table. This invitation may sound too good to be true but it's not, God is clear in His word that we can exchange our unrighteousness for the righteousness of Christ and have peace with God. While, this invitation is great, it is also temporary. Bottom Line: Our eternal destiny hinges on whether or not we answer the invitation to come sit at God's table.

Build your life on him, and you’ll be able to handle anything! On the other hand, if you build your life without Jesus, he’s the Rock that will always be in your way. Bottom line: You can build on Jesus or trip over Jesus… but he’s not going away.

Series: One & Only Title: Water Text: John 4:4-15 (esp. 13-14) Summary: “Living water” is a gift that God offers to us through Jesus alone. What is “living water”? It is God himself, come to live his life within us through the Holy Spirit. By faith in Jesus, we are washed clean and filled to overflowing with divine goodness and love. Bottom line: Come to Jesus and receive God’s gift of new life through him!

Series: One and Only Title: Fire Text: Luke 3:15-18 Summary: Fire can be useful… or scary. When under our control, fire gives us light and warmth. But God is not under our control. Scripture teaches that “God is a consuming fire.” How we respond to what Scripture reveals about Jesus determines what in us God’s fire will consume. Series: One & Only Title: Word & Light Text: John 1:1-5 Summary: Jesus is the Word of God who speaks God’s light into existence. There are two kinds of light corresponding to his two acts of creation. In the first act, God made natural light. This is how we see creation. In his second act of creation, the Word spoke again so we could see God. Bottom line: If you want to see God, let God’s Word-made-flesh speak light into your darkness.

Title: Proclaim the Message Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:1-2

Series: Sent Title: Heaven's Gift Scripture: I Corinthians 12-13 Summary: God is the giver of good gifts. He not only has given us the greatest gift of all, but He also gives us blessings along the way: hope, peace, joy, and love. Jesus is the embodiment of these special gifts and gives to those that come to him. Bottom line: Jesus, sent to give and comfort.

Series: Sent Title: Love Seeks Text: Matthew 2:1-12 Summary: Gifts are a great way to express love. The better we love, the better the gifts we’ll give because we know exactly what to get. The weeks before Christmas are all about longing for our Savior, but not this week. This week we interrupt our longing to sing for joy: the Lord has come! Series: SENT Title: Peace Shouts Text: Luke 1:67-79 Summary: In our broken world, conflict is the norm. We wrestle with God, with each other, even within ourselves. With so much conflict around us, peace can be hard to come by. God’s promise—what we’re all waiting for—is that he’ll bring his people into perfect peace. Bottom line: When peace breaks out in your life, you won’t keep it to yourself. Advent candle/reading: Peace

Series: Sent Title: Hope Shines Text: Isaiah 9:1-7 Summary: When God promises something, he always delivers. If he tells you to hold on—to wait on him and not lose heart—then hold on, friend. While you’re waiting in the darkness, hope is a candle. It’s the light you need to remind you that God is light and he’s on the way. Bottom line: Hope isn’t just a feeling—it’s a willingness to wait because God’s not done yet. Advent candle/reading: Hope

God invites us to value what is valuable, honor what is honorable, starting with Jesus. When we worship him with our lips and honor him with our lives, we show the watching world what—or rather who—matters most. Bottom line: Envision a future that’s full of worship, forever… but don’t wait, let’s start now!

Series: Planting Season Title: That Seed Be Sown Text: 2 Corinthians 9:6 Summary: God is a generous gift-giver. He’s so generous, in fact, he gives us gifts even when we forget it’s him doing the giving. God’s best gift ever: his Son, Jesus. He’s the Gift that keeps on giving! Series: Planting Season Title: That Likewise Be Done Text: Luke 10:37b Summary: Jesus told his followers to listen to his teachings and learn them well. But Jesus did more than teach, he also demonstrated. God’s invitation to us is this: Study Christ’s example of mercy toward others, then go and do likewise. Bottom line: God himself will give us the opportunities to show mercy to others—just like Christ!

Bottom line: The Spirit will always say exactly what Jesus wants us to hear.

This invitation is for each of us and for all of us. Imagine that! The God of the universe wants to live his life in and through you! Bottom line: We are all only human until God in Christ makes his home in us.

Series: Why God?Title: Will You Rescue?Text: Mark 10:46-52 Summary: The laments of the Bible give us permission to come before God in our pain with questions of hurt and confusion. We ask, ‘why God?’ like many of our heroes in Scripture. For us today we have been given a clearer picture of God’s intention to use what the enemy meant for evil to turn it for good by looking back in Scripture. While this does not take away the pain and hurts of today, followers of Christ can rest in God’s ultimate plan for rescue.Bottom Line: Jesus is rest for your soul

Series: Why God? Title: What did I do? Text: Job 31 Summary: When we’re hurting, we just want answers, right? Actually, wrong. When we’re hurting we may think we want answers, but what we really want is help. The path from hurt to help is not paved by answers from God or anyone else. We need God to show up! Bottom line: Don’t settle for answers, when God’s Presence is what you really need.

Series: Why God? Title: Did you lie to me? Text: Jeremiah 20:7-18 Summary: God’s promises are eternal and unshakeable. We are not. We get shaken easily, especially when the pain comes through broken relationships. When the people we most trust turn against us, it gets easier to wonder whether God can really be trusted after all. Bottom line: God will prove his promises through your pain.

Series: Why God? Title: What are you doing? Text: Psalm 88 Summary: Desperation, when it lasts too long, can lead to desolation. A soul too long in agony and isolation begins to darken under the shadow of death. We may lose sight of God’s goodness, his mercy. It’s only natural to ask him, “Why?” Bottom line: Great faith will keep you talking to God when he isn’t talking back.

Series: Why God? Title: Where are you? Text: Psalm 22:1-21 Summary: God is strong. There’s none stronger. Imagine fighting a bear, a lion, a giant… and winning! Having God on your side, it’s hard to imagine how things could go wrong. But when God doesn’t show up for the fight, it’s understandable to start asking questions. Bottom line: When you can find God, keep looking!
