I'm Addicted to Comfort
Culture tells us that living within our comfort is a sign of success, and discomfort is a sign something is wrong. In today's episode, Amy, Kelsey, and Phyllis talk about comfort. Not the type of comfort we receive when we're going through a hard time, but the type of comfort we spend effort and energy towards on a day-to-day basis to make us feel good, happy, secure, and content. As moms, is there a danger to constantly living within our comfort? What does the Bible say about all of this? Join our authentic and Jesus pointing conversation. ________________________________________________________ This month, we are offering A Small Gathering for moms in the Lancaster and surrounding area and the Ashland and surrounding area. Expectant Wonder
It's December — the season of lights, cozy nights, and a little extra magic in the air. Everywhere we turn, there's talk of wonder — the kind that makes our hearts swell when we picture baby Jesus wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in that manger under the glow of a shining star. It's a beautiful image, isn't it? Peaceful. Holy. Still. But let's be honest — the beauty of that moment didn't come easy. Mary wasn't sitting in a quiet nursery with a rocking chair and a sound machine. She was a young girl, far from home, giving birth to the Savior of the world… in a barn surrounded by animals. And moms — life is full of the unexpected, isn't it? And those unexpected moments can leave us worried or just plain tired. But here's the hope: Mary shows us another way, the better way. Instead of giving into worry, she leaned into expectant wonder — trusting that even in the mess God was doing something miraculous. Let's talk about Expectant Wonder. ____________________________________________________ Click here to join our private online community to have access to a larger network of Jesus loving moms AND get details for all in-person opportunities. What We're Building
In this episode, Amy, Brooke, and Kelsey talk about "What We're Building". As moms, it's so easy to get caught up in the constant day-to-day—tasks, activities, responsibilities. We go, and go, and go… and sometimes we forget to stop and ask: What's the purpose behind all of this? This conversation is an invitation to pause—to breathe—and to remind our mom souls of what God is truly calling us to build, brick by brick. Not just busy lives or clean houses, but something lasting… something eternal. Let's realign our hearts with His blueprint and ask, together: Are we building what He's called us to? ______________________________________________________________________________ For more information, check out motherhoodmeetsfaith.com Click here to sign up for FREE devotionals just for moms. Pride and Humility in Motherhood
In this episode, we dive into the topic of pride and humility specifically in our motherhood. We joke about the ways culture tells us to take pride in doing it all, but we're going to dig into what Scripture actually says about pride — and why humility matters more than ever in our motherhood journey. We'll explore how humility isn't weakness, but strength — the kind that teaches us to lean not on our own understanding but on God's. ___________________________________________________ For more information, check out motherhoodmeetsfaith.com Click here to sign up for FREE devotionals just for moms. Back to School
It's that time of year—back to school! Whether your child is stepping into kindergarten or packing for college, this season marks a new chapter in their journey—and in our hearts as moms. His Strength, My Surrender
Let's be honest — so often, we find ourselves trying to do it all on our own. We rely on our strength, our knowledge, our resources… and at some point, we hit a wall. We feel overwhelmed, worn out, and maybe even unqualified for this sacred role of motherhood. But here's the truth: We were never meant to "mom" alone. In fact, God designed us to need Him. To rely and lean on His Spirit, His strength, His guidance, His love. Because when we do, that's where the transformation happens — in us and in our children. It starts with surrender. How God Mothers Us
In a world where the pressure is on, motherhood is often portrayed as a burden—something that keeps us from doing "noble" things. Social media tells us that if we do choose to raise children, a "good" mom should step back and let kids figure things out on their own. But here's the truth: there's a spiritual battle waging against motherhood itself, and it's crucial we understand what the Word says about it. In God's Kingdom, intentional motherhood is an act of war, and to be successful in this battle, we must look to Scripture and the character of God. So, how does God, our Heavenly Father, mother us? ___________________________________________________ For more information, check out motherhoodmeetsfaith.com Click here to sign up for FREE devotionals just for moms.
