True forgiveness brings sinners out of hiding, restores them to God, and fills them with the joy of His mercy.

Though the world rages, Jesus reigns, and all who take refuge in Him are blessed.

Those who take refuge in Christ and delight in God’s Word are blessed, fruitful, and kept by God.

Jesus prays for the people given to him, that they may be protected in the world and brought at last to behold his glory.

The King we need is not the one we would expect: Jesus is glorified by dying, and through his cross brings life to the world.

The way to God is not a path we find, but the Savior who goes by the cross to the Father and brings his people home.

Part 7 of 11: We consider God’s infinity by studying His incomprehensibility and eternity—why God’s greatness is unsearchable and His life is not bound by time.

In washing his disciples’ feet, Jesus points to the cross where he cleanses his people and forms them into humble servants.

Jacob’s blessings point to the coming King from Judah, while Joseph’s death anticipates the exodus and God’s future redemption

Part 6 of 11: We study God’s moral perfections (holiness, goodness, truth, justice, jealousy, joy, and wrath) and how Scripture speaks of them truly yet analogically.
