What?!?! The Schmovie Boys have pulled another classic zag, postponing the planned Required Viewing discussion in order to react to a batch of recent trailers for some anticipated films, including Avengers: Doomsday, Other Mommy, Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil, and Chris Rock’s Misty Green.

The guys have an elaborately choreographed conversation about martial arts action flick The Furious, and then move on to discuss everything else they’ve seen, including the latest adventures of the Minions, the X-Men, the Toy Story gang, and good king Odysseus of Ithaca.

A band of mercenaries on a secret revenge mission run afoul of an ancient curse in John’s Required Viewing pick, 2022 French/Senegalese thrill-ride Saloum. It’s part crime thriller, part Neo-Western, and part CGI-fueled horror flick. Find out how well all those genres mixed!
