Today's lesson was originally taught on July 20, 2014. We look in the book of Acts specifically at a man named Phillip. We see how God used his background to help bring glory to Jesus Christ. We also look at a man known in history as Simon. Simon is a sorcerer that sees the power of Jesus Christ and His followers.

This is our 6th episode in our series on the Book of Acts. This lesson was originally taught on July 13, 2014. Today's lesson focuses on Stephen and his message found in Acts chapter 7.

This is the fifth episode in our series from the book of Acts. We encourage you to read Acts chapter 5 on your own as it is missing from our archives. This lesson was originally taught on July 6, 2014. Today's lesson is about staying focused in your ministry. We all have a ministry; God called us. Time is a precious commodity that we all must use wisely. We also see problems rise within the church today in Acts chapter 6. Laid before us is an example of how to handle things when problems arise.

We continue looking at the early church in this fourth episode of our Book of Acts Series. The text today is from Acts chapters 3 & 4. This lesson was originally taught on June 22, 2014. Please keep this in mind as cultural references are made. We are still learning from the early church. During this time, the early church is facing persecution. Without the valley, we don't grow. Today's lesson picks back up in Acts chapter 2. This is the third lesson in our series from the book of Acts. In Acts chapter 2, we see this infant church. There is so much that we can learn from them. Of course, we should be growing, but we must ask ourselves if we look like them.

We see what they went through and how they made it. We have so much to learn from them. God blessed us greatly when He gave us the church. We hope you learn something for The Kingdom through this series that starts today in chapter 1.

This lesson was originally taught back in August of 2018. Our text today is Colossians chapter 3 and has lots of practical application for Christians. We hope you will apply to your life.

Today's lesson was originally taught in August of 2018. The focus of the message is the preeminence of Christ. This is a different message delivery than we normally publish on the podcast. This lesson is more like a sermon. It was taught in front of the whole church one Sunday instead of just Sunday School. Because this lesson is a little different, we will also try to release a second episode this week in case you don't prefer this type of delivery. However, we do hope you enjoy it and learn from it.

This episode was orginally taught on August 5th 2018. It is the third and final episode of our Philippians Series. Our text today is of some familiar scripture from Philippians Chapter 4. God blessed us with more than just salvation. However, to receive many of the blessings He has for us, we need to follow His instructions. The devil loves to use our mind to try to get us off course. In this lesson, we see things that God wants us to think on in order to have the peace He has for us.

This is part 2 in our Philippians Series. Today's lesson was taught in July of 2018 from Philippians chapter 3. Paul reminds us to rejoice in Him. It's all about KNOWING Christ. We must keep pressing toward the mark. It will be worth it!

This lesson was originally taught on July 15, 2018. We enter the book of Philippians and study chapter 1. We get to see that Paul has a heart for people that puts others before himself. We also look at his example to see who we should be witnessing to. Examine your heart. Are you following Paul's example?

Today's lesson is from 1 Kings Chapters 1-4. It was orginally taught on September 2, 2018. This was not meant to be a part of our King David series that we just finished, but God lined it up for us to pick up near where that left off. We see in these chapters the advice that David gives to Solomon. It's amazing that this advice can apply to use so many years later.

Today we get a bonus episode to conclude our David Series. We go back a little bit to 2 Samuel chapter 6 to shine a light on a man named Obededom. This episode was originally taught in July of 2026. Mr. Danny does a great job of showing us how God's presence can be seen in our lives by others.

Today we see David late in life as he is making two offerings to the Lord. We start in 2 Samuel chapter 24, and we also look at 1 Chronicles chapter 21. You can see the photo mentioned in the episode of the rendering of a threshing floor here.

This is our second episode in our King David Series. Today's lesson comes from 2 Samuel chapters 13, 14 & 15. King David's son, Absalom, is scheming to try to take the throne from David. David is a man going through deep hurt. David goes to a place that we see his future descendent, the Ultimate King, later goes to as well.

Join us for the first in our King David Series. The text for this lesson is mostly from 2nd Samuel chapters 12 and 13. This is the time after David has sinned with Bathsheba and has murdered Uriah. The focus of this lesson is forgiveness and what it means to be a part of God's family.

So many good truth nuggets in this lesson from Ephesians chapter 5. This lesson has practical application for our walk with Christ, marriage, and family.

Today's lesson was orginally taught on June 24, 2018 and comes from Ephesians chapter 4. Are you growing in Christ, or are you still where you were when God saved you? Today's episode reminds us that we are to always be growing and learning more.

Today's lesson begins in Ephesians chapter 3 and ends in 1 Kings chapters 17-19. Mr. Danny does a great job of tying the two together. We don't always understand what God is doing, but we can trust that He has a plan, and He knows best.

Today's lesson comes from Ephesians Chapter 2. Mr. Danny reminds us that it is nothing that we have done within ourselves, but what God has done. May we never forget what He has done for us and where He has brought us from.

We join Mr. Jessie today in 1 Samuel Chapter 26. We see where David seemed to be in a constant state of prayer. What would our lives be like if we found ourselves in a constant state of conversation with the Lord?

Mr. Jessie Barnhill does a great job showing how during the anointing of David as future king, God looks on the inside even though others are looking on the outside. David had many things that God put in place to prepare him to be king. God is doing the same thing for you. He is preparing you for the path ahead of you.

Today we finish up 2 Timothy with Mr. Jessie Barnhill teaching for us. Paul guides Timothy in Chapter 4 on finishing well. This lesson was originally recorded on February 11, 2018.

Originally live recorded on February 4, 2018. Paul continues his letter to Timothy from prison. If you didn't listen to 2 Timothy Chapter 2, we encourage you to listen to that episode before this one. Paul is reminding Timothy of some hard truths about the world we live in. None of us are perfect, but we must all strive daily to fight against the flesh and focus on the One True God.

Today's powerful lesson was originally recorded on January 28, 2018. Mr. Danny does a wonderful job of painting the picture of Paul in prison as he writes this precious letter to Timothy. No one would have been able to fault Paul if he had quit after all he had endured, but he didn't. He explains to Timothy that it is important to ENDURE even when you don't enjoy it all the time.

This lesson was recorded with a live Sunday School class audience. The lesson was originally recorded on January 14, 2018. The lesson uses 1 Timothy chapter 6 for the scripture and focuses on the Christian role in the workplace whether the boss or the worker. It also makes reference to how we should view money.

Mr. Danny ties this lesson together differently than any we have released so far. The beginning comes from Ephesians Chapter 3 reminding us that God doesn't always do things the way we think He should. His ways are not our ways. Then Mr. Danny travels over to 1 Kings chapters 17-19 to the story of Elijah. Elijah was going through a time he didn't understand. We have the benefit of know the end of Elijah's story, but we may be going through something right now that we don't understand. We don't have the benefit of knowing the outcome in advance, but we do have the benefit of knowing what God has done in the past. He won't leave us, even when we don't understand. Stay with Him. He knows.
