    Jesse Campbell is an American R&B singer. He was a member of Team Christina in the second season of the American television talent show The Voice.in 1994 he signed with Underworld / Capitol Records releasing an album entitled Never Let You Go, which reached No. 53 on the Billboard R&B Albums chart.[1][2] The album spawned two charting singles, "When U Cry I Cry" and "Baby, Baby, Baby". He performed on national television shows such as The Tonight Show and BET's Video Soul. He performed internationally traveling to South and Central America, UK, Eastern Europe, South Africa, Asia, Russia, Belarus, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Italy, Denmark, Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico. He also recorded the song "Where Is the Love" for the soundtrack to the film Dead Presidents. In 2012, he auditioned singing Leon Russell's "A Song for You". All four judges (Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton) hit the "I Want You" button for him. He chose to be part of the team of Christina Aguilera. In the Battle round, he was put against Anthony Evans, another R&B/gospel singer. In a duet, they sang the Alicia Keys song "If I Ain't Got You". He won over Evans and advanced to the live shows.     The Emotions have been sampled by rappers such as Big Daddy Kane, Tupac Shakur, LL Cool J, Wu-Tang Clan, 50 Cent, Ice Cube, Salt n Pepa, De La Soul, Kanye West, A Tribe Called Quest, and Notorious BIG. Artists such as Toni Braxton, 112, Mariah Carey, Lisa Lisa, and Cult Jam, Mary J Blige, Ginuwine, Keyshia Cole, Tamia, and Janet Jackson have also sampled the girl group. Their songs have also been covered by artists such as Phoebe Snow, Minnie Riperton, Marcia Hines, Patti La Belle, Maysa, The Temptations, Will Downing and Nancy Wilson, and Bobby Caldwell. The group was originally a gospel outfit known as the Hutchinson Sunbeams who toured the gospel circuit with their father Joe Hutchinson. The Sunbeams sang on Jerry Van Dyke’s “Children’s Gospel” television show and also occasionally performed in the concert with Mahalia Jackson. They eventually became an R&B/Soul act with a popular following in their hometown of Chicago, Illinois. Soon being renamed The Emotions, they signed with the Memphis-based Volt imprint of Stax Records in the late 1960s. Under the production of Isaac Hayes and David Porter, the group issued their 1969 debut album entitled So I Can Love You on Stax. Wanda Vaughn, an original member of the iconic group The Emotions, has captivated audiences worldwide with her soulful voice and powerful stage presence. As one-third of the legendary trio known for timeless hits like “Best of My Love” and “Don’t Ask My Neighbors,” Wanda helped define the sound of 1970s R&B and continues to be a revered figure in the genre.     Jenelle “Nelle Rose” Dunkley, born in Mount Vernon, NY and raised in Freehold, NJ, comes from a Jamaican family who migrated to The Bronx in the 1980s. At the tender age of five, under the direction of her mother, she began her musical journey by singing in the church choir. At the age of 14, she began to explore her talents deeper by recording original materials and joining an indie gospel group known as J. Michael & W2 (Without Walls). After leaving the group, she began to perform under the moniker Au’Janae and continued her solo endeavors. Influenced by the likes of Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, India. Arie, Jill Scott, Kierra Sheard, and Brandy, set out to add her name to a group of artists who march to the beat of their own drums. Exemplifying simplicity in her vocal talents provides texture to what has become an unarguably ambiguous genre. She integrates mystique and raw emotions into her music and stage performances. As an artist, she enjoys captivating audiences with simple yet authoritative vocals; leaving many spectators in shock because of her stature. The rush of performing live leaves her in a state of euphoria. The reactions she receives from the audience remind her to continue to live in the moment—a lesson she learned from her great-grandmother and mentor. She worked the underground circuit for several years while earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Africana Studies from Rutgers University. In her career thus far, she has generously learned about sacrifice and creating her own path. In early 2018, she faced many health challenges that impacted her voice. Upon her full recovery, she decided to give up her possessions and relocate to Los Angeles to further pursue her dreams.
