Used Cars Under $20K Are Selling Fast: Prices, Mileage & 11% Loans
Used cars under $20,000 are selling fast, but what are buyers actually getting for their money? In this episode of the MX3 Podcast, we look at the changing used-car market and the growing affordability problem facing American drivers. We discuss used-car prices, vehicles approaching 100,000 miles, older cars being purchased for the same money buyers once spent on much newer vehicles, limited inventory, auto auctions, credit scores, interest rates, monthly payments, and the danger of becoming upside down on a long-term car loan.We also get into the cost of today's pickup trucks, rising insurance expenses, fuel costs, and why affordability may now matter more to many buyers than features, mileage, or even age.MX3 Podcast is about money, motivation, and relevant events that affect everyday life.💬 We want to hear from you: What did you pay for your last vehicle, how long did you finance it, and how many miles were on it when you bought it? Glenwood Pysher Shooting: Officer Charged After Wrong-House Encounter
A wrong house, an unarmed 22-year-old college baseball player, body-camera evidence, and now a police corporal charged with voluntary manslaughter. In this episode, we discuss the death of Glenwood “Bubba” Pysher IV in Upper Pottsgrove Township, Pennsylvania. Pysher had been out with friends before mistakenly arriving at the wrong house. Homeowners called 911, and Upper Pottsgrove Police Cpl. Sean Farrell responded.According to prosecutors, Pysher was unarmed, had his hands raised, and was approximately 17 to 20 feet from Farrell when he was shot. Investigators also said Farrell had less-lethal options available, including a Taser. Farrell has since been charged with voluntary manslaughter. We break down the reported timeline, what investigators say the body-camera evidence shows, the officer’s actions after the shooting, the $75,000 bail decision, and the larger questions surrounding police use of force and accountability. Then the conversation turns to a much more controversial question: Why do some police shootings become major national stories while others receive comparatively little attention? We discuss race, media coverage, public reaction, and whether every victim and every case receives the same scrutiny.Post-recording update: Sean Farrell voluntarily retired from the Upper Pottsgrove Police Department effective September 2, 2026, after being suspended without pay following the criminal charge.Farrell has been charged with voluntary manslaughter. A criminal charge is an allegation, and the case remains subject to the court process.MX3 Podcast is about money, motivation, and relevant events, including the difficult subjects that generate real conversation.💬 Do you think this case has received the level of national attention it deserves? Is Air Conditioning the Greatest Invention? | The Fat Electrician Reaction
Was air conditioning one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century? In this reaction episode, we take on The Fat Electrician’s hilarious argument that modern life as we know it might not exist without air conditioning. From Willis Carrier’s breakthrough in 1902 and the rise of air-conditioned movie theaters to server rooms, modern cities, European heat waves and the question we really need answered: what the heck is “window cheese”?Then we bring it home with our own memories of growing up around window units, fans, houses designed for natural airflow and the days when running the air conditioner all day felt like a luxury. We even wander into another technology that once seemed almost unbelievable: the microwave oven.Do you agree that air conditioning belongs near the top of the greatest inventions of the 20th century? If not, what invention beats it?Drop your answer in the comments and tell us your earliest memory of air conditioning, window units or your family's first microwave.MX3 Podcast is about money, motivation and relevant events, with conversations that mix history, current events, personal experience and a little humor along the way.🎥 Original video by The Fat Electrician:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1P4H0oly778👍 Like the episode💬 Join the conversation in the comments🔔 Subscribe for more episodes from MX3 Podcast🌐 Find more at www.mx3.vipSupport the showMX3 Podcast on Youtubewww.youtube.com/@mx3podcastContact MX3 PodcastTweet us: @mx3podcastEmail us: [email protected]: https://www.linkedin.com/in/michael-w-wright-9397b23a/Thanks for listening & keep on living your life the Wright way!

John Hinckley Jr. 10 Years After Release: Reagan, Jodie Foster & What Changed
Ten years after John Hinckley Jr. left St. Elizabeths Hospital, his attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan remains one of the most remarkable chapters in modern presidential history. In this episode of MX3 Podcast, we revisit the events that led John Hinckley Jr. from an obsession with Jodie Foster to stalking President Jimmy Carter, an airport arrest involving firearms, and ultimately the March 30, 1981 assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan outside the Washington Hilton. We also discuss Hinckley's surprising connections to Ardmore, Oklahoma and Highland Park, Texas, his fascination with Taxi Driver, the warning signs before the Reagan shooting, his insanity verdict, his 2016 release from St. Elizabeths under restrictions, and the later removal of those restrictions.A recent interview has once again brought Hinckley and his fixation on Jodie Foster into the spotlight. He Faked a Hole-in-One: When Cutting Corners Becomes Cheating
What happens when taking a shortcut crosses the line into outright cheating? In this episode of MX3 Podcast, we discuss the story of former college golfer Zach Holland and his account of staging a hole-in-one during a member-member tournament at WingHaven Country Club. A planted golf ball, an alleged phone call about his grandmother, a suspiciously convenient tee shot, and security-camera footage turned one round of golf into a much bigger lesson about honesty, reputation, and consequences. But the conversation goes beyond golf. Why do people cut corners? Does pressure at work encourage otherwise honest people to bypass rules? What happens when employees are given unrealistic expectations without the time, tools, or resources needed to meet them? And does the way someone behaves when nobody appears to be watching reveal something deeper about their character? We discuss cheating in sports, workplace shortcuts, moral character, personal responsibility, and why the “easy way out” can end up costing far more than doing things the right way.💬 We want to hear from you: What is the craziest golf cheating story you have ever seen or heard?👍 Like the episode💬 Join the conversation in the comments🔔 Subscribe to MX3 Podcast for more discussions about money, motivation, and relevant eventsFind more from MX3 Podcast:www.mx3.vipSupport the showMX3 Podcast on Youtubewww.youtube.com/@mx3podcastContact MX3 PodcastTweet us: @mx3podcastEmail us: [email protected]: https://www.linkedin.com/in/michael-w-wright-9397b23a/Thanks for listening & keep on living your life the Wright way!
