This is a podcast that explores the human side of globalization. With NAFTA (the North American Free Trade Agreement) Mexico went from being one of the most closed economies in the world to one of the most open. High school students from Monterrey, Mexico wanted to find out how globalization has changed our lives.

    Our podcast will go in depth on NAFTA and the impact it has had on our economy and community. We will also judge how effective it has been and whether we should change something for the future. We talk about how it has affetced Monterrey and the rest of Mexico by giving some examples of our own lives. This podcast will basically talk about what NAFTA has done for all three countries and our own opinion.

    The americanization of Mexican Buisnesess: How NAFTA ate up family businesses and spit out American franchises.

    Our podcast goes into how NAFTA was beneficial for North America and how it allowed their economy to rise. We dive into the specific types of businesses who were affected either in a good way or bad way and state our opinion and the research we got from interviews made to people who lived during the change.
