“My New Hero: Memories Of The Rink Rats”Is based on my childhood walk with Wayne Gretzky and why became my hero and my quest of 42 years to locate the stolen stick Wayne gave me on a promise during our journey!The second most important theme is how 3 buddies had great fun sneaking in and around the Winnipeg Arena befuddling the security guards for years with our shenanigans!We also did the same thing across the street at the Winnipeg Stadium but it wasn’t as much fun as the arena it was basically one big boring slab of concrete but we got up to the same mischief!
