Here's my presentation to Sonoma, CA MUFON on Saturday April 4th, 2025. I gave a brief presentation before having Q & A with the audience. We also looked at the CO MUFON write up on Dark Matter by Jesse Blassengame for their investigators. In this presentation, Dr. Hein explores a unifying hypothesis connecting orbs, ball lightning, UFOs, crop circles, Bigfoot encounters, and remote viewing. He proposes that these phenomena share consistent environmental and perceptual effects—such as silence, cold spots, electromagnetic disturbances, time anomalies, and altered emotions—suggesting a common underlying mechanism. I report how Stan Gordon reports that humanoids were seen by witnesses at the site.  The Kecksburg UFO event occurred on December 9, 1965, when a brilliant fireball streaked across the sky over several U.S. states and Canada before apparently descending into a wooded area near Kecksburg, Pennsylvania. Witnesses reported a metallic, acorn-shaped object with unusual markings, and local residents claimed the area was quickly sealed off by the U.S. military, which removed a large object on a flatbed truck under heavy guard. While officials described the incident as a meteor, researchers and witnesses have long argued that the behavior of the object and rapid military response suggest something more exotic. I talk about what's in the museum, some of the cases examined there, and the mystery still surrounding the Roswell incident. While the crash happened near Corona, ranch supervisor Mack Brazel soon brought the material to Roswell Army Air Field, a three-hour drive away. The radio station that interviewed Brazel was told by the FCC not to put it on the air and Brazel was detained for several days by the Army. Many other witnesses were threatened. On September 9, 2025, the House Oversight Committee’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets held a hearing titled “Restoring Public Trust Through UAP Transparency and Whistleblower Protection” (Room HVC-210). Members played a newly surfaced video, introduced by Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO), that he said came from MQ-9 drones operating off Yemen on Oct. 30, 2024; it appears to show a Hellfire missile striking a fast-moving glowing object that continues unaffected. The hearing’s aim, per the committee, was to press for greater transparency around UAP records and protections for those who come forward. ([House Oversight Committee][1]) Witnesses included Air Force veteran Jeffrey Nuccetelli, journalist George Knapp, and others; they criticized the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, alleged retaliation and roadblocks when reporting incidents, and urged Congress to compel disclosure. Committee leaders, including Chair Anna Paulina Luna, framed the session as part of a broader push to declassify federal secrets, while coverage by defense and space outlets underscored that lawmakers want answers and that more hearings and document requests are likely. The recent Sept. 9, 2025 Congressional hearing touches on precisely those themes: members of Congress explicitly pushed for transparency, whistleblower protections, and declassification so the public can better evaluate the reality of these encounters, rather than having information filtered through military or intelligence gatekeepers. This directly echoes Hein’s core point that society suffers when anomalous data are hidden or stigmatized. Additionally, Hein emphasizes the broader consciousness connection to anomalous phenomena—that the government’s reluctance to engage openly with remote viewing, UFOs, and related effects stems from their potential to challenge entrenched scientific and institutional paradigms. The hearing underscored that same tension: whistleblowers described retaliation and suppression when reporting anomalies, suggesting that institutions are still more focused on protecting reputations and control of information than on embracing disruptive data. This is my presentation to the Snippy 2025 Conference, Alamosa CO on Sunday, August 24th. Ball lightning is a mysterious yet not uncommon phenomenon often appearing as a free floating fire ball. It is thought to be the basis of geological activity, volcanoes, and alchemical transmutation at microscopic level. Though it occurs near thunderstorms in can also appear out of the blue. Research in ball lightning also shows it to be potentially dangerous and even fatal to come in contact with. In this talk, we'll look at the electromagnetic basis for ball lightning, orbs, and other Mobile Luminous Objects (MLOs) such as earthlights seen in such places as Marfa, Texas, the Marley Ranch, Skinwalker Ranch and Hessdalen, Norway. We'll look at Soviet era research into so-called "electro magnetic phantoms", fractal wheel-like objects and also the work of David Fryberger into alternative configurations of Maxwell's electro-magnetic laws. Rodionov, S.V. Adamenko and Vysotsky of Proton 21 Labs. Adamenko and Vysotsky claimed that they had discovered a type of microscopic black hole which absorbed all the materials and energy around it. After a brief summary of this research we look at the application of these principles as seen in to strange features of Bigfoot and other cryptids including cloaking and invisibility. Takaaki Matsumoto, Kenneth Shoulders, and S. V. Adamenko are researchers whose work intersects in the field of unconventional energy phenomena, often touching on topics related to cold fusion, low-energy nuclear reactions (LENR), and exotic vacuum objects. Takaaki Matsumoto is known for his explorations into cold fusion, particularly his work on electrochemical processes that might facilitate nuclear reactions at room temperature. Kenneth Shoulders, on the other hand, focused on the concept of "electrum validum," or "EV," which refers to a form of condensed charge cluster that he believed could lead to novel energy release mechanisms. Meanwhile, S. V. Adamenko has contributed to the study of high-density charge clusters and their potential implications for new physics and energy generation. Despite the controversies surrounding these fields, their collective work seeks to explore the possibilities of energy production beyond conventional nuclear physics, pushing the boundaries of current scientific understanding. The concept of Bigfoot emerging from black hole pockets in trees is a fascinating blend of folklore and speculative science fiction. Imagine a dense forest where ancient trees stand like sentinels, their gnarled branches whispering secrets of the past. Within these trees, hidden from the casual observer, are mysterious portals—black hole pockets that defy the laws of physics as we know them. These enigmatic gateways, perhaps remnants of a lost civilization's advanced technology or natural phenomena yet to be understood, serve as conduits between dimensions. When the conditions are just right, perhaps during a full moon or when the forest is shrouded in mist, these portals activate. From within the swirling darkness of these arboreal black holes, Bigfoot emerges, stepping into our world. This creature, often described as a towering, elusive figure covered in hair, seems to be both of and apart from our reality. The black hole pockets allow Bigfoot to traverse dimensions, explaining its elusiveness and the sparse evidence of its existence. http://DarkMatterMonsters.com I recently visited the site of a recent Bigfoot sighting near Boulder, CO in March, 2025. I got chance to talk with the witness who told me about orbs on her property and possibly a UFO with glowing red light near the house in 1973. She hadn't seen any Bigfoot before March but noticed some knocking sounds on her bedroom wall, and sometimes her front door, that agitated her dog. She also thinks there are some new tree structures nearby. She described the creature as moving fast with long strides, long arms, hunched over, dark brownish, 10 ft. tall with "shadows" around its feet. I’ve been puzzled and curious for a long time about Bigfoot’s ability to cause electromagnetic changes in its environment. Witnesses often report that the sounds of their environment become muffled or wholly extinguished. They’ll say the forest became unusually silent. There were no sounds of insects, birds, or wind. Just nothing. Secondly, they note that the area suddenly becomes inexplicably cold. Even in summer, their location becomes cold. A sudden fog might appear. Finally, they note that the creature they observe is very dark, “blacker than black” (1), and seems to be darker than the background as the creature’s fur appears to absorb light. In short, witnesses to Bigfoot and other cryptids often report: 1. Sudden silence 2. Inexplicable cold, sometimes includes the rapid appearance of fog 3. The creature looked like a dark, black blob, darker than the trees. When I wrote Dark Matter Monsters (2022), these observations and other strange EM effects led me to believe that Bigfoot and cryptids use a different state of matter than we ordinarily perceive. This could be dark matter, relic neutrinos from space, or other types of coherent matter. The evidence for this comes from experimental research in different kinds of cohesive matter, including lasers, sound, LENR, and well-known effects like the Bose-Einstein Condensate. (For example, researcher Jean-Paul Biberian mentioned in one presentation that turning on cold fusion/LENR reactors makes his lab colder(9)). (The documentary film A Flash of Beauty: Paranormal Bigfoot contains many witnesses to some of these strange effects (8)). Having recently read Gerald Pollack‘s excellent book The Fourth State of Water: Beyond Solid Liquid and Vapor (2013), it seems to me that the cause of the strange EM effects around Bigfoots are possibly caused by their ability to create structured water: a self-organized charge-driven state of water that makes its molecules stack into sheets potentially millions of layers thick. Pollack shows that structured water has several EM properties, including storing electric charges like a battery and absorbing infrared energy from the environment. This capacity to absorb “incident radiant energy” is highly reminiscent of Nikola Tesla’s research and suggests that coherent states of water have energetic qualities not seen in its other states. This includes structured water, which Pollack calls “EZ water,” or Exclusion Zone water, which can harvest energy from sound and any heat source. As examples, Pollack gives examples of deep sea creatures that survive at the dark bottoms of Earth’s oceans by absorbing infrared energy. Here I look at structured water, what Gerald Pollack calls the "Fourth Phase of Water", and its ability to allow water to accumulate electric charge and act like a battery. Pollack believes that structured "EZ" water can absorb incident radiant energy, including sound, from the environment. I recently saw a strange-looking plane-type object flying low and slow over Paterson, NJ. It also made a sharp turn to the North that was not seen on the FlightRadar24 app. So, was it a plane or something else? A friend came to visit while I was writing Dark Matter Monsters and told me later that she thought it was ridiculous. She didn't believe in such things. Then, shortly thereafter, she an a close-up encounter with a Bigfoot that scared the daylights out of her. She isn't laughing about the subject anymore.

This is a presentation to the Sonoma Marin MUFON hosted by Lorien Fenton. We looked at some of the standard features in paranormal phenomena, such as orbs, ball lightning, and various mobile luminous objects; I briefly described how I got interested in such topics, especially my study of fractal geometry in graduate school. I showed some examples from remote viewing sessions I've been involved with and how this led to my crop circles research. These patterns create strange electromagnetic disturbances in cameras, batteries, and electronic equipment. We then looked at research in condensed plasmas and LENR, starting with the work of Winston Bostick in the 1950s for DOE and then to the more modern work of Dr. Takaaki Matsumoto and Ken Shoulders. We also looked at the work of I.M. Shakparanov, Dr. Hal Puthoff, and V.L. Bychkov. This latter research suggests that ball lightning, charge clusters, and EVOs (exotic vacuum objects) are the basis of a fifth state of matter known as coherent matter. Most people are familiar with lasers, a type of coherent light. Coherent matter can take many forms, such as coherent sounds or microwaves. The classic analogy for coherent matter is murmurations of birds or schools of fish with coherent motion patterns. We also looked at the research of David Fryberger with his Vorton model as an explanation for ball lightning and Earth Lights at Hessdalen, Norway and other locations. Fyberger's model fits with the work of Russian researchers Zhvirblis and Nevesky with "electromagnetic phantoms" and closed EM Poynting vectors. Some of the questions we looked at include: What are the specific characteristics that distinguish coherent matter from other states of matter? How do the findings about ball lightning and exotic vacuum objects impact our understanding of energy and technology? What implications do the research and phenomena discussed have for future studies in paranormal activity or unexplained phenomena? At the end of the presentation, we had time for Q&A. 

Presentation to the Society for Scientific Exploration, 2024 online meeting. I talked about one possible explanation for how remote viewing works, the Aharonov-Bohm Effect which describes how non-local interactions can occur between objects in the absence of electro-magnetic fields. I also look at the link between remote viewing and psychokinesis with references to Uri Geller, Nina Kalugina, and PK practitioners I've witnessed perform these seemingly magical feats.

In this presentation, I described how I got interested in fractal geometry and chaos theory during graduate school in sociology. In this lecture we look at different ideas about Bigfoot and some of the anomalies that defy a “flesh and blood” explanation. First we looked at the ideas of WSU anthropologist Grover Krantz who believed Bigfoot is a relative of Gigantopithecus, a giant ape that lived over 300,000 years ago in Asia. Then we examined some of the Native American tribes who claimed they traded with Sasquatch. Next we learned of the experiences of Ron Morehead at his Sierra Camp and listened to some of his Sierra Sounds. We examined the ideas of Russian researcher Igor Burtsev who believes Bigfoot is an ancient paranormal human. We then looked at 6 sightings in the Troy, Idaho area and finally the connection of #Bigfoot to condensed matter systems studies in physics which might explain the creatures jet-like speeds, glowing eyes and close proximity to #orbs and ball lightning. In this interview, Stan Gordon fills us in on his later cases and research with giant cats, Bigfoot, Dogman, Orbs, and other anomalies.

In this episode we look at the evolution of dark matter life based on Jay Alfred's paper "The Creation of Minimal Plasma Cell Systems by Self-Organization in Earth's Dark Biosphere Leading to the Evolution of Dark Plasma Life Forms." Alfred proposes that dark matter and plasmas acted as seeds for life in the early stages of Earth's history. This leads to the development of invisible life forms parallel to more physical organisms we're familiar with. It could also explain some UFOs and #UAP that appear as living glowing orbs.
