    016 - Moses Part 2 - Send Someone Else

Moses: The Road to the Promised LandPart 2 — “Send Someone Else”Based on Exodus chapters 3–4Today we continue the story of Moses at the burning bush, where God called him by name. But being called by God doesn’t always feel brave.Sometimes it feels terrifying.Moses isn’t standing there like a hero—he’s a runaway shepherd, unsure, unqualified, and afraid. So when God tells him to go to Pharaoh and lead His people out of Egypt, Moses does something very human:He makes excuses.“Who am I?”“What if they don’t believe me?”“What do I even say?”“I’m not a good speaker…”And finally, the most honest one of all:“Please… send someone else.”But God doesn’t back away.Instead, He meets every fear with truth.“I will be with you.”“I AM has sent you.”“I will help you speak.”God gives Moses signs of His power—over nature, over sickness, over fear itself. He reminds Moses that this mission doesn’t depend on Moses’ ability, but on God’s presence. And when Moses still struggles, God provides help—his brother Aaron.Moses doesn’t get out of the calling. But he doesn’t go alone. In this episode, kids will learn that God doesn’t wait for us to feel ready—He calls us and walks with us. Fear doesn’t disqualify you. Excuses don’t cancel obedience. And when God sends you, He also gives you what you need. What We Learned:• God calls people before they feel brave and promises to be with them.• Moses’ excuses showed his fear, but God answered each one with truth.• God is patient, but He still calls His people to obey.• God often gives help for hard callings, like Aaron for Moses.Application:Sometimes we make excuses because we’re scared or uncomfortable. Maybe it’s telling the truth, apologizing, helping someone, or doing what’s right when it’s hard. God doesn’t ask you to feel fearless—He asks you to trust Him. He is the one who gives courage and help. And when obedience feels too heavy, ask God for support. The better prayer isn’t just, “Make this easy,” but “Be with me, and help me obey.”⸻Search terms: kids Bible story, Moses burning bush, Exodus 3 4, Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, Moses and Aaron, faith and obedience, trusting God, Sunday school audio, family Bible teaching

As fear rises, Pharaoh makes a cruel decree, and one mother is forced to make an impossible choice: trust God with her baby’s life. From a basket in the Nile…to the halls of Pharaoh’s palace…to a burning bush in the wilderness…This is the beginning of one of the greatest rescue stories in the Bible.Along the way, we’ll learn to recognize key Bible themes and symbols—like how God’s presence is often shown through fire—and how God works through ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary plans.Perfect for kids, teens, and families, this episode helps listeners understand not just what happened—but how to read the Bible more clearly.Search terms:kids Bible stories, Bible stories for kids, Bible stories for teens, Moses story, Exodus story, burning bush, baby Moses, Old Testament stories, Christian podcast for kids, family Bible podcast, Sunday school stories, faith stories for children, ages 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14

Genesis: The Beginning of EverythingBased on Genesis 1:1–2:3Before there was land, sea, sky, sun, moon, stars, animals, or people—God was already there. In this episode, we explore Genesis 1 the way ancient listeners may have heard it: a world covered by darkness and the deep, where God brings order out of chaos by His word. We look at the heavens, the waters above and below, the dry land, the lights in the sky, the creatures of sea and land, and humans made in God’s image. We also follow this theme through the rest of the Bible, where Psalms and prophets describe God ruling the raging sea, defeating Leviathan and Rahab, and promising a day when chaos will be gone forever.God speaks. 011 - Ezekiel Part 11 - The Valley of Dry Bones

Ezekiel: Prophecies of Destruction and HopePart 11: The Valley of Dry BonesBased on Ezekiel 37:1–14In one of the most unforgettable visions in the Bible, God carries Ezekiel into a valley filled with dry bones—bones so old and lifeless that no one would expect them to rise again. Then God asks a shocking question: Can these bones live? What follows is a scene of rattling bones, returning flesh, rushing breath, and an army standing alive where death once ruled. But this vision is not just about bones. It is about Israel in exile. God’s people feel cut off, hopeless, and finished. Yet the Lord declares that their story is not over. He can restore what looks impossible to restore. He can bring life where there is only ruin.In this episode, we see that God’s power reaches farther than human strength, farther than exile, and even farther than the grave. When God breathes, hope lives again.

    010 - Ezekiel Part 10 - A New Heart

In Ezekiel 36, God gives one of the biggest promises in the whole Bible.Jerusalem had fallen. The Temple had burned. The people were scattered in exile. But Babylon was not Israel’s deepest problem. Their greatest problem was inside them. Their hearts had been stubborn, divided, and drawn toward idols for generations. So God promised something greater than a return home.He promised cleansing. He promised a new heart. He promised His own Spirit within His people. He promised to restore the broken covenant relationship: “You will be My people, and I will be your God.”In this episode, we walk through Ezekiel’s message of hope and discover why this promise reaches far beyond the exile. Ezekiel 36 does not only point to Israel’s restoration. It points forward to the new covenant fulfilled in Jesus. At the Last Supper, Jesus said the cup was the new covenant in His blood. That means the promise of Ezekiel 36 was not just about escaping Babylon. It was about God doing something even greater: cleansing His people from sin, changing their hearts, giving them His Spirit, and making them truly His.This is one of the clearest places in the Old Testament showing that God’s plan was never just to rescue His people from outward trouble. He meant to rescue them from the inside out.In this episode, kids and families will hear: why exile was not Israel’s deepest problem what the Bible means by a “heart of stone” and a “heart of flesh” why God promised cleansing, renewal, and His Spirit how Ezekiel’s promise connects directly to Jesus and the new covenantThis is a story of restoration, covenant, and heart transformation. Because the greatest hope was never just rebuilt walls or a road back home. The greatest hope was that God would make His people new.Questions about new hearts? [email protected]

    009 - Ezekiel Part 9 - The Good Shepherd

Ezekiel: Prophecies of Destruction and HopePart 9: The Good ShepherdBased on Ezekiel chapter 34After Jerusalem fell, the people were left asking a painful question: how did everything go so wrong? In this episode, Ezekiel delivers God’s answer. The leaders of Israel—the “shepherds” of the nation—had failed. Instead of caring for the weak, they used their power to help themselves. Instead of protecting the flock, they let the sheep scatter. But Ezekiel 34 is not only a chapter of judgment. It is also one of the most comforting promises in the book.God says that He Himself will search for His sheep. He will gather the scattered. He will bind up the injured. He will strengthen the weak. And He promises a future shepherd from the line of David—a faithful ruler who will care for His people the way human leaders never could. This episode helps kids hear one of the Bible’s big repeated pictures: shepherds are not just people who watch sheep. In Scripture, shepherds often represent kings and leaders. And through Ezekiel, God is showing His people what a true king is supposed to be.In this episode, kids will hear:• why God judged the selfish “shepherds” of Israel• how kings and leaders are often pictured as shepherds in the Bible• why the exile was not the end of Israel’s story• how God’s promise points forward to a faithful shepherd-kingThis is Part 9 of Ezekiel: Prophecies of Destruction and Hope, a storytelling series for kids and families that brings Bible passages to life while helping listeners notice the patterns, symbols, and repeated ideas the Bible expects us to see.

008 - Ezekiel Part 8 - The King Above All Nations

When Jerusalem fell, everything felt lost. The city was gone. The temple was destroyed. God’s people were in exile. And a dangerous question began to grow in their hearts:Was Babylon stronger than Yahweh? In this episode, Ezekiel lifts our eyes beyond Judah… and shows us something bigger.God is not just the God of one nation. He is the King over all nations.Through powerful images and warnings, Ezekiel reveals that the surrounding nations—who mocked, attacked, and took advantage of Judah’s fall—will not escape justice. We visit: Tyre, a wealthy trading empire that trusted in its riches Egypt, a mighty power that trusted in its strength And the nations that believed they could act without consequenceThey all seemed unstoppable. But Ezekiel reminds us:Wealth is not a god.Power is not a savior. And no nation stands above the Most High. This episode helps kids (and parents) understand a big truth:Even when the world looks out of control… it isn’t.God sees.God rules. And God will judge every nation with justice.⸻What kids will learn: God is King over the whole world—not just one place God sees pride, injustice, and cruelty Money and power cannot save Every ruler answers to the Most High⸻Perfect for: Car rides and family listening Teaching kids ages 8–14 big Bible truths in a clear, engaging way Helping children understand how God works in a world that can feel confusing⸻Part of the series:Ezekiel: Prophecies of Destruction and Hope

007 - Ezekiel Part 7 - The Boiling Pot & The Fall of the City

Ezekiel: Prophecies of Destruction and Hope — Part 7: The Boiling Pot & The Fall of the City (Based on Ezekiel chapters 15–24) In this episode, Ezekiel gives a series of unforgettable parables—a fruitless vine, a faithless vine bending toward another eagle, and a boiling pot crusted with filth—to show that Judah’s rebellion, idolatry, and divided loyalty have reached a breaking point. Then the warnings become reality: God reveals the exact day Babylon begins its siege of Jerusalem, and later a messenger arrives with the devastating news, “The city has fallen.” This is the moment Ezekiel’s long message of judgment reaches its climax—and the point where the story can finally begin to turn toward hope.

    006 - Ezekiel Part 6 - False Hope & Hardened Hearts

Ezekiel: Prophecies of Destruction and Hope — Part 6: False Hope & Hardened HeartsBased on Ezekiel chapters 12–14The exiles were tired of hearing warnings. Ezekiel kept saying Jerusalem would fall—but other voices promised peace, safety, and good news. Those were much easier words to believe. In this episode, Ezekiel acts out another sign of coming exile, exposes the danger of false prophets, and shows that the real problem was not only deceptive leaders, but hearts that wanted comforting lies more than truth. God warns that false hope cannot stand when judgment comes.Kids will learn that not every confident voice speaks truth, that idolatry can live in the heart, and that real peace comes not from ignoring danger, but from turning back to the Lord.

    005 - Ezekiel Part 5 - The Glory Departs

Part 5: The Glory Departs (Ezekiel 9–11)Ezekiel sees a vision of judgment moving through Jerusalem—and something even more shocking. The glory of the Lord begins to leave the Temple. In this powerful moment of the story, God shows that buildings and rituals cannot replace faithfulness. When a people push their King away long enough, the greatest loss is not their city… but His presence.

  13. 6

    004 - Ezekiel Part 4 - The Hidden Idols

Ezekiel is carried in a vision back to Jerusalem. What he sees shocks him.Inside the very Temple of God—behind closed doors and hidden walls—the leaders of Israel are worshiping idols. Elders burn incense to carved images. Women mourn a foreign god. Men bow toward the rising sun.God shows Ezekiel that the people believe their secret sins are unseen.

003 - Ezekiel Part 3 - Strange Signs in the Street

Ezekiel delivers a warning in a very unusual way. Through strange signs in the street — building a tiny city under siege, rationing food, and shaving his head — he shows what will soon happen to Jerusalem. The message is clear: the city’s walls and alliances cannot save it if the people refuse to trust the Lord.

  15. 4

002 - Ezekiel Part 2 - The Scroll and the Watchman

After witnessing God’s throne in the storm, Ezekiel receives a strange command — eat the scroll and speak God’s message to Israel. But the people will not want to hear it. God appoints Ezekiel as a watchman, responsible to warn the nation even if they refuse to listen. Based on Ezekiel 2-3

  16. 3

    001 - Ezekiel Part 1 - The Storm-Thrown in the Sky

Far from Jerusalem and living among the exiles, Ezekiel is given a shocking vision of God’s heavenly throne.
