We are continuing our Daring Faith series. Troy talks about how sometimes it takes just as much faith to wait on God than to step out and do our own thing. Other times, God is waiting on us to make the move.

Troy talks about two stories in the Bible where two women gave their best to God. One story is found in Mark Chapter 12 and the other is found in Luke Chapter 7.

Our commitments define our lives. Troy talks about some commitments that are specific to our relationship with God.

Pastor Troy dives into Galatians Chapter 6 where God's law teaches us about planting and harvesting. Everything starts as a seed and nothing happens until the seed is planted. When we have a need we should plant a seed. Whatever we plant is what we will reap.

This week during our Daring Faith series, Ryan Farr speaks about giving God our Best.

Troy dives into the word of God from Mark chapter 6 where it talks about Jesus feeding the crowd of people that came to hear him speak that day. He talks about how God likes to do miracles through people rather than independently, like He did through the boy that brought up his lunch to share with the crowd.  He likes to work through the “ordinariness” of people.  What we wait for God to do for us, God is waiting to do through us.

God wants to use you to make a difference in the world in ways you never even imagined. God is looking for people to step up, move out, and go all in.

What is faith? Faith is confidence and trust in who God is and what He says. Faith unlocks all the promises of God.

The focus of this service is intentional prayer and worship. There will be a mix of worship and prayer focus throughout the service.

We are kicking off our Daring Faith Series with a word from Pastor Troy. He shares the vision and where God is leading New Life in the days ahead.

Guest speaker Tavaris Taylor brings the message at New Life this morning. He speaks about how when we come to do our own will, we are left in the shadows. God's will gets the job done and is perfect. Scripture reading from Hebrew 10:5-9. 

Pastor Troy talks about the apostle Paul and endurance (2 Corinthians 8:10-11). Satan does his best to get us to quit what God has called us to start. What is it that God is prompting us to do that we need to follow through with?

God doesn't call us to a life of success, influence, or happiness. He calls us to be faithful. He calls us to be faithful in our relationships, with our resources, and our response to God.

A couple different ministry areas share their experiences with New Life's Big Serve Week and a Kid Life Mission Trip.

Peter warns us to stay alert and be on guard. The devil prowls around looking for someone to devour. We must put on the armor of God and be ready to fight the enemy.

Guest Speaker Cody McNichols talks to us about making room for what God might be saying to us. He references Ephesians 3:14-21.

Dr. Gustavo Crocker brings a message from the book of Luke about how when Jesus showed up, things changed. When he shows up, things change.

Pastor Troy, Pastor Wolfe, and a handful of teens recap their NYC trip and all that God is doing through our youth!

Guest speaker Mark Fuller talks about Joshua and Caleb from the Old Testament and their obedience to God's calling on their lives.

Ephesians 5:1 instructs us to imitate God in everything that we do and to live a life filled with love.

Liz speaks about the highs, lows, and in-betweens of life.

God's plan has always been to bring different people together through Jesus. When we love people who are different than us, it puts the love of God on display for the world to see.

Ryan Farr continues our "Questions People Ask" series by answering a question people ask about God and temptation. Temptation is not the same as sin. Allowing ourselves to be overtaken by temptation is. 

Christina Jones starts off our Summerfest week with a message focused on our kids!

We must surrender our will so God’s will can be done in our lives.

There are bridges that lead us back to our old way of thinking and acting. Are there any bridges that you need to burn in your life that are keeping you from living the life God has called you to live?

Jesus is either lovable or "hateable," he is not "likeable." He is to be loved to the point that you must worship him or hated to the point where you want nothing to do with him. Jesus says, "I am the Good Shepherd. And now I am standing at the gate and all who come through me will experience a rich and satisfying life."

Jesus is the Vine and we are the branches that produce fruit. If we remain in Him, we will be filled with joy overflowing.

Michael Clark shares his story about how Jesus delivered him from a life of addiction.

Jesus is The Good Shepherd who laid down his life for us (his sheep). He is the one who deserves our worship and our praise.

In what area of your life do you need healing?  It could be physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, relational. We need to keep praying and keep asking and not let go.

God gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. The gospel is about bringing dead people to life, so we need to confess our need for Him and repent. Jesus is the Hope of New Life!

Tavaris Taylor comes and speaks at New Life this week!

Troy dives into the book of Revelation, where we conclude from the passages within that there will be a new Heaven and a new earth where we will dwell with God forever. There will be no more, death, mourning, or pain.

Satan tries to convince us that Hell isn't a big deal. We need to remember that God calls us to share our faith, it isn't just the responsibility of the local church.

Giving is the solution to what’s wrong with our attitude toward money because it changes our hearts.

Ryan Farr speaks about generosity and how it is a posture of our hearts. He dives into the story of the Good Samaritan.

You can't have a rich relationship with God unless you lay down your pride. Troy speaks about the rich man from Luke 12 in this sermon.

We need each other, therefore, we prayer for unity.

Your actions do not determine God’s affections for you and the value that He has placed on your life.

We can share our faith by sharing our story. Let's pray this week for God to give us an opportunity to share our faith.

Our prayers are too often small and general. We need to ask God for specific requests and have faith that He will answer them. 

God can repurpose your pain and transform your life. Josh Broome shares his testimony along with how God transformed Peter's heart.

We need to allow God to work through us. When we know who we are, we know that our past is taken care of and we can be confident that God is working in our present lives.

God isn’t as interested in your ability to do something as he is in your availability to do it. If God is asking you to do something, he will qualify you for it. 

Crazy faith embraces Jesus as our focus.

Kid Life leads New Life in worship this Sunday, then Pastor Mandi brings a message of hope to all of us. 

Stop for a moment and step out of the busyness and the noise of this world. Take time to sense the presence of God.  He’ll meet you there.  Because who is he?  Matthew 1:23b (NIV)...She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”

Even though at times we find ourselves in the valley, we need to praise Him and find Him there. We enjoy God on the mountaintops, but we get to know God in the valleys. 

Irrational Generosity- God calls us to be wise with our time, resources, etc.
