It's always a treat to dive deep into my Prince archives! This year we set up a dancefloor so it was truly a proper party vibe at Lola's Hi/Lo Lounge in Madison, WI. It was great top see all my fellow Prince fans out in full force. Especially some of the folks I met that drove over 90 minutes to join the party! My mix is all spontaneous and unplanned as I was just going with the flow of the night. The historic Greenbush Bar in Madison, Wisconsin has been a part of the city's history for many years. It was so fun to revive the Decadance party at Lola's. I got to play the early set so it allowed me to dive deep into some of my favorite jams from the 1920's to 1970's without any dancefloor pressure to worry about. First hour is 1920's-1940's, then an hour of 50's, an hour of 60's and an hour + of 70's. Enjoy the wild ride!

I've been meaning to put together a mix of some of my favorite J Dilla tracks for years and as part of Black History Month 2025 this felt like the right time to take on the challenge! Suffice to say he was truly a musical genius who was light years ahead of his time. If you haven't read the amazing Dilla Time book by Dan Charnas I highly recommend doing so. I hope this mix is a nice soundtrack to anyone currently reading it. I could've played for many hours but I just went with the flow and ended up with 2.5 hours of some of my personal favorites of his. I got asked to be the opening dj for Kamala Harris' big rally in Madison, Wisconsin. My first ever rally like this! Nothing was planned out and I just went with the vibe of the crowd. It took a while for everyone to clear security but once they did it hit capacity of 10,231. Suffice to say it was a surreal and fun experience. To call Tom Moulton a living legend would be an understatement. He invented the 12" single, produced/mixed hundreds of legendary songs, and was the first person to make a dj mixtape (in the late 60's!). Suffice to say this 3 hour live mix merely scratches the surface of his genius. It was a pleasure to do this live mix in the magical environment of Leopold's Books Bar Caffè.Enjoy!

It's always a dream when you get to dj at the beautiful University of Wisconsin's Memorial Union Terrace Stage and thankfully it turned into a beautiful evening after the threat of rain passed. It was wonderful to be able to play blissful beats while everyone enjoyed the stellar view.  Unbeknownst to me, as I was playing Al Green's I'm Still in Love with You there was a wedding proposal that happened on one of the piers behind me. One of those perfect spontaneous moments that rarely happen.Sit back and enjoy!

It was an honor and a challenge to dj for the monthly Ukrainian Fundraiser Dinner at Leopold's Books Bar Caffè in Madison, WI, as this was the first time in my life I dj'd a set like this. As someone who doesn't speak or read Russian it was quite the adventure on all levels.3+ hours of (mostly) Ukrainian music that I discovered through countless hours of deep digging. Lots of cool stuff! Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.And yes, the last track has an actual live bird jamming with the band. Something I've never heard before.
