🎙️Welcome to Japanese Simple Storytime with Noriko! 🌸Join our community, Japanese Together. すべてのスクリプトは、私の有料コミュニティJapanese Togetherで読めます。Japanese Togetherには、私のすべてのポッドキャストのアーカイブがあります。I am an office worker. Every morning, I wake up at 6 a.m. and leave home at 6:30. Then, I go to the Starbucks near the station. While drinking coffee there, I always study English. This is my morning routine.Recently, I’ve been studying by listening to podcasts. While listening to a podcast, I read the script generated by AI."Alright, let’s do our best today!"As usual, I started reviewing vocabulary on my iPad. The words and sentences I’ve studied many times and memorized come out smoothly, and I can read them fluently. But when difficult words appear, I can’t read them as smoothly."Uh… what was this word again? What does it mean…?"Whenever I come across a word I don’t know, I make sure to look it up right away in a dictionary app on my phone. Then, I quietly mumble it out loud."Um… is my pronunciation correct?"Thinking that, I keep mumbling and repeating the words. Honestly, English pronunciation is difficult. While I was muttering to myself, someone sitting nearby glanced at me. But I didn’t mind. Reading English out loud is important. That person also studies English here regularly. Just like me, she comes to Starbucks every day to study. She always works on a TOEIC workbook. She probably hasn’t noticed, but sometimes she also mumbles in English."Everyone is working hard. I should do my best, too!"I whispered that to myself in my mind.

🎙️Welcome to Japanese Simple Storytime with Noriko!  🌸Join our community, Japanese Together. すべてのスクリプトは、私の有料コミュニティJapanese Togetherで読めます。Japanese Togetherには、私のすべてのポッドキャストのアーカイブがあります。Sato was very busy from the morning. There were many meetings. There were also many emails to answer. When he looked at the clock, it was already past 5 PM."I should go home soon," he thought and left the office. The sky was a little dark, but it was not raining yet.As he walked toward the station, the wind suddenly became strong. Then, small drops of rain started drizzling.“Well, this much is fine,” he thought and kept walking. But the rain got stronger and stronger. Soon, it was pouring, and he was completely soaked. From far away, he heard the rumbling of thunder. Sato didn’t have an umbrella. So, he quickly ran into a nearby convenience store.Inside the store, many people were also taking shelter from the rain. Sato’s shirt, pants, and shoes were soaking wet."Ahh, I didn’t think it would rain this much..." he said quietly. He waited for about 10 minutes. The rain became weaker and weaker. Soon, it was only drizzling again."This is my chance," he thought and left the store. The station was not far now.Somehow, he reached the station and got on the train. But inside, it was a little cold."My clothes are soaked... I might catch a cold," he thought as he wiped his wet face and head with a handkerchief. He looked outside the window. The rain had almost stopped."Today was a tough day. When I get home, I’ll take a nice warm bath right away," Sato thought.
