Niro on Iran

Niro on Iran is a Danish‑Iranian deep dive into why this country matters way more than most people think. I’m openly pro‑Shah and I believe in a secular, constitutional future for Iran, but my main focus here is long‑term stability. I look at Iran through energy, security, and strategy, not headlines, and try to show how it could become an anchor of stability instead of permanent crisis. If you’re tired of shallow hot takes and want clear structure and big‑picture thinking, this show’s for you.

Niro On Iran 2.

I denne afsnit af “Niro on Iran”.

  6. 15

Danmark hader Trump – men hans magtspil mod Iran gavner os mere, end vi tror.

Danmark elsker at hade Trump.

Season 2 af ‘Niro on Iran’ starter i Danmark.

The Iranian Body and Mind: 47 Years of Trauma

Season 1 was about oil, power and silence. Season 2 starts inside the human being. In this opening episode I talk about “47 years of trauma” – how executions, prisons, war and the morality police have shaped the Iranian body and mind since 1979. I break down what happens to a body that is constantly policed, and to a mind that grows up between propaganda outside and whispered truth at home. This sets the direction for Season 2: childhood under a lie, the diaspora wound, religion and guilt, and how trauma travels from parents to kids – and what healing after the Islamic Republic could look like.

  10. 11

    Denmarks silence on Iran

Denmark loves to see itself as a human rights country – free speech, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, rule of law. But when it comes to Iran, that menu suddenly changes. In this short finale, I ask a simple question: if rights are universal, why is Denmark so quiet when Iranians pay the price? You listened to Niro Niromand. This is Niro on Iran.

    Europe’s Fear, Iran’s Price

Europe’s fear, Iran’s price. In this episode I talk about why Europe stays so quiet on Iran while talking loudly about Ukraine, Gaza, and human rights. I break down Europe’s energy dependence, refugee fears, and economic interests – and explain why a free, secular Iran would force Europe to finally choose between cheap gas and real values.

  12. 9

Who’s Afraid of a Free Iran?

Who’s afraid of a free Iran? In this episode I talk about why regional powers and the West are so nervous about a 3,000‑year‑old civilization coming back as a secular, democratic state. I go into Turkey, the Arab kingdoms, Israel, and Europe, and explain why a free Iran would shift the whole balance of power in the Middle East – and why Iran will not collapse like Libya or Syria.

  13. 8

Trump, Cheap Oil, and a Normal Iran

In this episode I ask you to put emotions about Trump on pause and look at Iran only through cold business logic.I explain how a Trump-style mindset sees cheap oil, energy routes, and risk. Then I show why, in that logic, the Islamic Republic is a bad partner – and why a normal, stable Iran after this regime is actually the best deal for cheap energy and global stability.

  14. 7

Iran’s Prosperity Project: Blueprint for a Normal Country

In this episode of ‘Niro on Iran,’ I walk you through Reza Pahlavi’s Prosperity Project as a practical blueprint for a normal, stable Iran. Instead of royal nostalgia or slogans, we look at it like a product manual: what it says about security and borders, energy routes and trade, the economy and daily life, and the institutions needed for a boring, predictable country that partners with the West. I explain why this plan is so attractive for Western leaders, why many ordinary Iranians might accept it, and where my own doubts and questions still are. If you want to understand one of the only concrete opposition roadmaps for a post‑regime Iran, this episode is for you.

  15. 6

Iran’s Dying Regime and the Weaponization of Energy Routes

Iran’s leaders know their time is running out , so they’ve turned the region’s lifelines into weapons. In this episode, I break down how the dying regime uses energy routes, shipping lanes and chokepoints around Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the Emirates to scare markets, pressure the West and keep itself alive a little longer. If you’ve ever wondered why a small incident near the Strait of Hormuz can shake global prices, this episode connects the dots in simple, straight English.

  16. 5

Iran: Older Than Islam – From Zoroaster to Underground Christianity

Iran’s history did not start with Islam. In this episode, we explore ancient Persia, Zoroastrianism, early Christianity in Iran, and why some Iranians today are changing religion or becoming non-religious. This episode is about understanding Iran’s deep history and the changes happening in Iranian society today.

  17. 4

    The Iranian Mind

In this episode, we talk about the Iranian mind. How do Iranians think? Why is Iran a country full of contradictions? Why do many Iranians not trust foreign powers? Why are Iranians very proud of their country, but often critical of their government? This episode is not just about politics. It is about history, identity, society, and the way people think. If you want to understand Iran, you have to understand the Iranian mind. This is Niro on Iran — Iran behind the headlines.

  18. 3

    Iran’s Crossroads: Prosperity or Collapse?

In this episode of “Niro on Iran,” I look at what really happens if the Islamic Republic disappears, not in slogans, but on the actual map. Iran is a crossroads for energy, trade, and security, so when the regime changes, the whole road network around it is affected. I walk through two futures: a planned constitutional transition, like the vision of Reza Pahlavi and the Prosperity Project, where Iran reconnects to the world, and a darker scenario where there is no plan, power vacuums open up, and the region risks serious instability. This episode is about one key question: who protects the crossroads if the system in Iran changes?

  19. 2

Ancient Respect, Modern Enemies: Iran and Israel

This episode picks up where Episode 1 left off. I dive into the long, complicated story between Iran and Israel, from ancient respect under Cyrus the Great to today’s ‘modern enemies’. I talk about how ideology, energy routes, and regime survival turned two natural partners into rivals, and why that history matters for understanding the region now.

  20. 1

Iran, Energy, and Security: Why This Country Matters More Than You Think

In this first episode, I introduce myself and why I care so much about Iran. I break the country down through energy and security instead of emotion, and I sketch a vision of Iran as a potential anchor of regional stability. This podcast is my attempt to build a bridge between those worlds.
