Narrated by Jennifer Byrne. Jennifer began her career in journalism at age 16, as a cadet at Melbourne's The Age newspaper. At age 23, she became the paper's San Francisco correspondent and later a feature writer.

Narrated by Sam Mostyn AO. Sam is an Australian businesswoman and climate change and gender equity advocate, and first woman AFL commissioner. As of 2021 Mostyn is president at Chief Executive Women. She is a board member on numerous boards, including the Climate Council, the GO Foundation, Mirvac, Transurban, Virgin Australia and The Sydney Swans. The Mostyn medal, for "best and fairest" women in AFL, is named after her.

Narrated by Hugo Wallace Weaving AO. Born in Colonial Nigeria to English parents, Hugo has resided in Australia for the entirety of his career. He is the recipient of six Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (AACTA) and has also been recognized as an Honorary Officer of the Order of Australia.

Narrated by Paul McDermott. Paul has been a writer and performer but, primarily at heart, he's a scribbler. He began his career as a busker with Australian musical comedy group the Doug Anthony Allstars and has created three award-winning short films as a director, writer, and scribbler - The Scree, The Girl who Swallowed Bees and Ghostbear. Gia Carides is an Australian film television and theatre actress who is known for her roles in Baz Luhrmann's Strictly Ballroom, alongside Mike Myers in Austin Powers 2 as Robin Swallows. Zoe’s career has spanned four decades - on stage, screen and radio, here in Australia and internationally. Theatre highlights include Half Time with Nancye Hayes and Stefanie Jones, Blood Brothers with Chrissy Amphlett and Russell Crowe.

Narrated by Rev. Bill Crews AM, a much-loved Australian. He is a radio broadcaster and founder The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation which gives 200,000 meals to the poor and homeless every year. The Foundation also teaches poverty-stricken kids to read.

Tasmanian comedian Rachel Berger relays the story of ‘T’, a Jewish girl who although grew up in a tight-knit Jewish community, suffered at the hands of her extremely violent and sexually abusive step-father for most of her childhood.

Actor Damon Herriman tells the story of ‘V’ who had what she perceived to be a ‘loving relationship’ with her father from age 9. Even though she still suffers the consequences of his actions today, she feels the guilty one and wishes he could have been helped when he too was sexually abused as a young child.

Comedian Jean Kittson narrates the story of a woman who was abused by her grandfather, he would touch her and other kids. Her life path was set to be filled with fear, drug, alcohol and sex addition and regret.

Human Rights Campaigner & Retired Football Player Craig Foster AM relays the story of survivor ‘K’. There was a time in her life when ‘K’ was a gifted athlete and loved playing football. She played alongside girls who became Australian Representatives, but that wasn’t on the cards for ‘K’, her eldest brother and her uncle changed all that.

Susie Porter, an Australian actress empathically relays the story of a woman who was abused by her father from around age 3 or 4. Even now in her mid-40’s, as a victim/survivor, she still feels powerless.

Hear well-known comedian Adam Hills, although not an incest victim himself, empathetically relate to this episode’s victim/survivor Aden. In his 50’s Aden has a minor procedure that brings back memories of being sexually abused as a child.

Comedian Luke Heggie openly confesses that until now he hadn’t fathomed the extent of the effects of incest. Luke relays the story of a woman who still many years later lives her life terrified of what her brother might do to her and her family.

Radio National ABC Presenter Richard Fidler narrates the story of his friend who was raped as a young girl by her grandfather, then she confronted him on his death bed.
