Before Reece Green was the co-creator of the most viral Halloween Costume of 2023, he was a new Seattle comedian who I thought was very funny. He was also a professional baseball player, and grew up a baseball nut. We talked about the origins of his costume, going viral while still trying to enjoy the present, and Reece's career as a professional baseball player in countries you didn't know had professional baseball.

We were driving to Pasco, Washington where we golfed and where I had a show, and talked about college radio and what it was like to be a black sports broadcaster through the time when Colin Kaepernick was kneeling during the anthem and people were protesting the murder of George Floyd.

I recorded this podcast after a day of drinking and eating smoked brisket. That day was also my daughter's third birthday. I went into excruciating detail on how I smoke brisket and briefly complained about bad takes from supposedly credible people. 

I have been very lucky avoiding COVID, but my luck finally ran out.
