    The Jesus Video Game

Throughout history, the gospel story has been adapted to various different types of media. We've seen it presented in the form of stage plays, radio dramas, and even TV shows. The one place we haven't seen the story of Jesus presented very often is the realm of video games. This week Pastor Robby and Pastor James talk about a new video games that attempts to do just that. In the game "I am Jesus Christ," the player plays as the Son of God as he goes through the gospel story. Is this game a success for the gospel or an awkward stumble?Learn more about North Pointe Church at northpointefl.org, and join us on Sunday mornings at 8:30, 10, or 11:35.Do you have any questions or comments? The Value of Calluses

Calluses can become useful tools. They can harden our fingertips to make playing a guitar easier or they could harden our hands to prevent them from being damaged by tools. At the same time, some calluses can get in our way or make things more unpleasant. While our actual physical calluses are obvious to us, we also develop spiritual types of calluses that we receive from life. Today on the podcast Pastor Robby sits down with Pastor Jason Mecum as they discuss the calluses that we earn and those that are simply given to us from circumstance and how God is able to use them both for his glory. We also discuss his sermon about Samson from Sunday.Learn more about North Pointe Church at northpointefl.org, and join us on Sunday mornings at 8:30, 10, or 11:35.Do you have any questions or comments? God and Science

It seems to be a common belief that science and faith are at odds with each other. How could someone of faith trust science and how can someone of science also be a person of faith? Maybe believing in one doesn't have to mean abandoning the other. Pastor James and Pastor Robby explore the intersection of faith and science to try and understand how the two relate to each other.Learn more about North Pointe Church at northpointefl.org, and join us on Sunday mornings at 8:30, 10, or 11:35.Do you have any questions or comments? The Law

As Christians, we often spend most of our time working in the New Testament, which means we sometimes struggle to understand the purpose of the Law in the Old Testament. We may not follow all of the Law, but is still very important to believers Understanding the Law is essential for understanding our own relationship with God and Jesus' sacrifice for us. Today we explore how to think about the Old Testament law as believers, which laws we should follow, and how we decide what laws to still obey.Learn more about North Pointe Church at northpointefl.org, and join us on Sunday mornings at 8:30, 10, or 11:35.Sources from today's episode:Nässelqvist, Dan, and Georgina Jardim. “Slavery.” In The Lexham Bible Dictionary, edited by John D.
