Robbeye has an uplifting energy; which may be hard to believe considering what life has thrown her way. Beverly has spent most of her life as a nurse, in nursing education and even changed legislation in the state of California insuring school nurses get the funding and support they need. She's a remarkable woman from a humble upbringing with a heart full of joy and love of her fellow humans.

Sallie and I met at the US Masters Swim Team practices and I knew at once I had to interview her. She’s a smart, funny and kind woman with a lot to say.  It’s always interesting to me to hear what these women think was their greatest success. Spoiler alert - it always has to do with family.

Lynn has led a comfortable but exciting life. Joining the Army, singing in a big band, being a single mom and living on her own for more than four decades. Barbara has lived such an interesting life. By the time your hearing this episode, Ethel is at least 97, as all of these interviews took place before the pandemic. Ethel is a marvel to me. She had a rich life of family, work and travel.  I met a few of her younger family members while there - it was heartening to see her with family and cracking sarcastic jokes.  And her direct and SUPER dry nature - I just love it. She knew what she wanted and she made it happen.
