I Got Promoted 3 Times in 5 Years. It Still Wasn't Enough.
I just got promoted for the third time in five years at a tech company — and instead of the win I expected, I got the imposter syndrome that never quite goes away and a voice already asking "what's next?" before I even celebrated. So this one's honest. First, what actually got me promoted (it's simpler and less impressive than people make it sound). Then the imposter syndrome — why the higher I climb, the more I compare myself to people who look smarter, more credentialed, more "supposed to be here" than me. And finally the part I sit with the most: why hitting the goal never feels like enough, and what I'm trying to do about it.If you've done well on paper and still feel like it's not enough, this might resonate. You're allowed to be proud of how far you've come and still want more — I'm figuring out that balance out loud.Where else you can find me:Instagram and Tiktok @NotThereYetWithMoaaz🎧 Listen on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/033E9pIHIoHnNrgI46t3nE

Kalshi Is a Slot Machine Dressed Like Investing
Kalshi, sports betting, and prediction markets are being sold like investing. But if the app gives you the same rush as a slot machine, we should probably call it what it is.In this episode, I talk about why young men are being targeted, why quick money feels so tempting, and what I learned from quitting a stable tech job to chase a faster path myself. This isn’t financial advice. It’s a warning about how gambling is being dressed up as investing.Have you been targeted by Kalshi ads? Why aren't you the one to break your family's cycle?
Every family has a pattern that repeats until one person decides they're done carrying it. This episode is the honest version of being that person to change your family's history. What it actually feels like to be the one who goes first: why it might as well be you, why nobody warns you it gets lonely, and why the weight is really a privilege once you see it as the fork in your family tree.If this one resonated, stick around. I do this every week, out loud, until it makes sense.New episode every week.🎧 Listen on Spotify: 0:00 Every family has a pattern2:19 Going first, out loud4:18 What nobody tells you about going first5:24 You're the fork in the family tree8:29 The one pattern to end with you9:13 Why not you▶️ Subscribe on YouTube: @NotThereYetWithMoaaz#NotThereYet #BreakTheCycle #SelfImprovement #Podcast #Motivation

How I Went From All F's to Six Figures in Tech.
If you ever got told you weren't smart enough — bad grades, a rough start, a degree that didn't "count" — this one's for you.I had all F's my first year of community college. Today I'm in tech, six figures, with promotions and equity behind me. I'm not saying that to brag — I'm saying it so you can see that your early record doesn't decide your ceiling. The thing that actually carried me was never intelligence. It was resilience, showing up, and refusing to let a bad start become the whole story. If this one resonated, that's the whole reason I make these.⏱️ Chapters0:00 – All F's to six figures0:25 – How I failed out my first year of college1:15 – Locking in and transferring to UC Davis2:30 – Graduating behind everyone else3:00 – The $50K job I couldn't stand3:55 – Emailing my way into a 50% raise5:30 – Laid off — right after I got engaged5:55 – Why resilience mattered more than my grades6:50 – The one question I ask when everything goes wrong8:45 – Your grades don't define you10:20 – Learning to actually love learning11:00 – What did you write yourself off for?🎧 Listen on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/033E9pIHIoHnNrgI46t3nE▶️ Subscribe on YouTube: @NotThereYetWithMoaazInstagram and Tiktok @NotThereYetWithMoaazWhat did you write yourself off for way too early? Go silent. There's no one left to blame but you.
Its ok to go quiet for a while. No announcements, no posting every move — just heads-down. And I finally figured out why that scares me: when it's only you, there's no one left to blame. Not There Yet with Moaaz · Episode 3This week: why I talk about going ghost and working in silence, how my phone keeps dragging me back into performing, and the fear I've been sitting on all year — that AI is leaving me behind. Plus why I think we're actually still early.▶️ Your question this week: What would you actually start if you told absolutely no one? I Start Everything… and Finish Nothing | Not There Yet w/ Moaaz Ep 2
I'm great at starting things. I'm terrible at finishing them and it's quietly cost me about 10 years. This is Episode 2 of Not There Yet. It's the one where I say the things out loud: I've started YouTube channels, a jewelry brand, a sports page, side projects… and I let almost every one of them die right before it could turn into something. I built audiences. I walked away. And I'm tired of living in the "what if."So this week is about the uncomfortable middle, pushing through when you see no results, why my first episode got 25 views and I'm still here, the "you got big all of a sudden, bro" lie (nobody sees the 12 months of work), and the fear of falling behind in the AI wave the same way people missed the TikTok wave in 2020. I also break down exactly how I'm using AI right now to do days of work in an hour and to actually run this podcast. If you've ever started strong and quit right before it got good — this one's for you.QUESTION OF THE WEEKIf you're using AI — what are you actually using it for? Saving time, building something, automating a task? Drop it in the comments. I read every one, and I want to feature the best answers next week. We get better together. If any of this hit home, subscribe and come along — I'm documenting the whole climb in real time, from a 9-5 to whatever this becomes.
