"That's a good idea, let's get it on the air!" - Simon Kennedy
Simon Kennedy is a voice artist, comedian, keynote speaker and author based in Sydney.After starting as an announcer, he had a very unique position, writing comedy imaging.These days, you'll hear Simon on promos for ABC-TV throughout Australia.He's also the President of the Australian Association of Voice Actors (AAVA).Now we didn't touch on this in our chat, but Simon wrote a book in 2014 about an atrocity that shook the all world, but took someone precious from him.It's a story about his road from an awful place.It's called 9/11 and the Art of Happiness and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Best-selling novelist Mary-Lou Stephens on life after radio
Mary-Lou Stephens is a best-selling author.She's written Australian historical fiction novels "The Last of the Apple Blossom" and "The Chocolate Factory" and a memoir "Sex, Drugs and Meditation". All of them have received rave reviews from the media and fellow authors alike, and her latest work, "The Jam Maker" is out now.But Mary-Lou spent quite a bit of time behind the mic, both on stage singing and playing in bands, then at radio stations 2TM, Mix Townsville and on ABC Radio in Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
