We are now in week three of our travels for the Midwest Record Store Crawl. This week, we are checking out Double Play Records in Franklin, Ohio. Hey everyone and welcome to Off the Beaten Clef. This week, we are discussing an EP from a local band in southwest ohio. The band has been broken up for over ten years, but the EP has been one I find myself trying to track down periodically, and luckily it is still on youtube. The band is Remember When, and the EP is Save Your Wishes from 2010. I was fortunate enough to chat with Jared & Yasu, both guitarists who wrote on Save Your Wishes. It’s one of my favorite conversations I’ve had on this podcast, as it goes in a million different directions - but we all agree on how much we love music and the way it moves us. Jared & Yasu give insight and break down the five track EP with us, and we also discuss their cover of Down by Jay Sean and Lil Wayne. It’s a longer episode than normal, so we hope you all enjoy it.
