One Bipolar Brain
by Eleonora
I’m Elli, I live with BD, and I’m embracing it. I’m sharing my experience because I want to help others with the same condition feel more comfortable, and less alone.I faced my struggles, but I also managed to work my way out of it. I want to be open about it, about my path of acceptance, about difficulties and coping mechanisms, what helped, what brought me even lower. I want to help by providing tips and raising awarenessBipolar disorder is a medical condition, not different from a broken limb or diabetes. You wear a cast, you inject your insulin, you take your lithium. It’s not visible, it’s not understood, and it’s scary. But it doesn’t need to be.
