    What Happens When I Die?

Death is certain, but what happens after we die? One Gospel Minute explores what the Bible reveals about eternity, judgment, and the hope found in God’s truth.Read about this subjectScripture: Hebrews 9:27, Luke 16:22, II Peter 3:10, John 5:28-29, I Corinthians 15:52, II Corinthians 5:10, Matthew 25:46"Judgement Day"“Why Must All Men Die?”

    Mom Matters

In a world that often overlooks the home, one truth remains: moms matter. God designed motherhood with purpose, giving women a powerful role in shaping lives and faith.A godly mother influences generations—teaching, guiding, and pointing her family to God. Scripture shows the lasting impact of faithful mothers and the void left when that influence is gone.If we want strong homes and a faithful future, we need Christian mothers.Read about this subjectScripture: I Timothy 2:15, 1 Samuel 1, Luke 3, Proverbs 31"Life Lessons That My Children Have Taught Me""What is a Mother?""Mothers"Listen to more on this subjectThe Gospel, By Her Example

The Truth That Sets You Free

In a world full of opinions, feelings, and shifting ideas, one question still matters: What is truth? While many treat truth as something personal or flexible, God’s word stands as the unchanging standard.Truth is not what we think or feel—it is what God has revealed. His word will not only guide us, but it will also judge us in the last day. If we want to be set free, we must seek the truth where it is found—in the Word of God.Read about this subjectScripture: John 8:32, John 17:17, John 12:48, Proverbs 23:23"The Truth"“What is Truth?”

The Profession That Saves the World

People often look to professions, platforms, and personalities to change the world, but when God set out to save mankind, He chose something far simpler—He sent a preacher. Jesus came declaring the good news, teaching the saving message of God in its simplicity. While man has complicated that message over time, the truth has not changed. The Gospel is still the power of God to save, and it’s time to get back to the basics.Read about this subjectScripture: Luke 4:18, John 8:32“We Need a Preacher”

    The Right Birthplace

The New Testament church did not begin just anywhere—it began exactly where God said it would. In this episode, Malcolm Hill points us back to Isaiah’s prophecy and its fulfillment in Acts 2, showing that the church established in Jerusalem is the church we read about in the Bible. If we want the right church, we must begin in the right place. This throwback episode is a tribute to Malcolm Hill, founder of Tennessee Bible College and the original voice of One Gospel Minute. Though he has passed on, his faithful preaching continues to inspire and remind us to follow the pattern found in Scripture.Read about this subjectScripture: Isaiah 2:1–4, Acts 2, Acts 2:47Beginning of the Church of ChristListen to more on this subject Bible Doctrine, “The Church"

Why Every Sunday Should Be Like Easter

Two times a year, the world talks about Jesus—Easter and Christmas—but the truth about remembering Him is not found in tradition. It is revealed in His word. While many observe a yearly celebration of the resurrection, the New Testament does not teach it. Instead, it points to a weekly remembrance of the risen Savior every first day of the week. To misunderstand how and when we honor Christ is to miss what Scripture plainly reveals about worship, the resurrection, and the Gospel itself.Read about this subjectScripture: Acts 12:4, 1 Corinthians 15:14–19, Acts 20:7, Hebrews 10:25Easter

    The Attributes of God

Many people have ideas about what God is like, but the truth is not found in human opinion—it is revealed in His word. The Bible teaches that God is eternal, unchanging, and far above the shifting thoughts of men. To misunderstand God is to misunderstand everything that follows, including life, suffering, and salvation.Rather than shaping God into what we want Him to be, we are called to know Him as He truly is. Tennessee Bible College is offering an After Dark course, The Attributes of God, to help you study these truths more deeply and grow in your understanding of the living God. Something New

People often search for something new, even in matters of worship and service to God. In ancient Athens, people spent their time wanting to hear the latest idea, and our world is much the same today. Yet God has already given us what we need through His word and warns us not to add to it or take away from it. Instead of changing God’s doctrine or the practices He has revealed, we are called to follow His will faithfully and live according to the truth He has given.Read about this subjectScriptures: Acts 17:21, II Timothy 3:16–17, Revelation 22:18–19

The Battle Never Left—RENEW: My Responsibility

Social media says 2026 feels like 2016 again. In 2016, at our RENEW Lectureship, the theme was “Revisiting the Battle…” as we studied the struggle with modernism, denominationalism, moral impurity, and false doctrine — but the truth is, the battle never left. And in 2026, the question isn’t just what are we fighting? It’s who is responsible? Romans 13:14 says, “Put on the Lord Jesus Christ.” The battle is real, but responsibility is personal. Join us for RENEW 2026: “My Responsibility” (Romans 13:8–14) on February 28 at Tennessee Bible College, and view the full schedule and details at https://www.tn-biblecollege.edu/renew/.Read about this subjectScripture: Romans 13:8-14“RENEW Lectureship 2026 to Focus on Christian Responsibility”RENEW Outreach ProgramListen to more on this subject RENEW Audio Library

    A Word on Ignorance

Everyone is ignorant of something. The real question is what you’re willing to be ignorant about. Don’t let it be the truth that determines your salvation. In this episode, listeners are reminded of God’s call to study, seek understanding, and pursue wisdom that reaches beyond this world (II Timothy 2:15).This is a special throwback episode from Tennessee Bible College founder and the original radio host of One Gospel Minute, Malcolm Hill—bringing a timeless reminder that true wisdom begins with knowing God’s Word.Read about this subjectII Timothy 2:15“Study, Search, Seek”

    The Right Foundation

Jesus’ illustration of the wise man building his house on the rock, given at the close of the Sermon on the Mount, is more than a familiar children’s song—it is a serious call to obedience. Speaking to adults, Jesus taught that true wisdom is found in hearing His words and doing them. God’s Word is truth, and those who build their lives upon it stand firm. Those who don’t respect the dead are unlikely to respect the living. On Memorial Day, we owe gratitude to those who came before us—family members who worked hard for our future, and soldiers who died defending our freedoms. Like Abraham who honored his family with a proper burial, we too should show respect. As one veteran said, even during holiday fun, take a moment to remember those who gave so much.
