Hometown Hero-Naheem Garcia
Naheem Garcia is in the house. What a down-to-earth and enchanting personality. Naheem Garcia is an actor and producer, known for R.I.P.D. (2013), Free Guy (2021), and The Purge: Election Year (2016). An actor and theatre educator and Boston raised is using his gift and talents as a performer to uplift the youth in his community. Naheem is known nationally for his work on films like Kevin can go F**k Himself, The Equalizer 2, Purge 3 Election Year and Daddy’s Home 2 but in his community he is known as a hero. Garcia teaches acting at Boston Casting and is currently working as a teaching artist for The Huntington Theatre Company’s Education Department, The Peer leaders from the Tenants Development Corporation in the South End of Boston, and the Boston Police Department’s Acting Up With the 5-0 program. In this episode, he shares his passion, not just for acting but for his community and the younger generation as he cultivates the talents of the future.
