Jordan Talks | If God has a plan, he causes the bad things too... right?
This is our first ever solo episode, part of a new style we will be introducing! Jordan discusses how; It's a common misconception held by both Christians and non-Christians that God causes bad things to happen - as it's all part of His big cosmic plan, like some large machine and we're all just cogs working towards some greater good that we don't understand. That could not be further from the truth, God does not cause bad things to happen and He doesn't have an inescapable plan for your life. It's crucial to understand how something that was designed to be good, can still cause bad outcomes.God may not have your life planned out to the minute, but He does have plans for you... they just might not be what you were expecting.

How good health enhances all your relationships - Including that with God
'The disciplined mind does not agree with despair.' This episode focuses on Jordan as he discusses how a physically healthy body enhanced his ability to deal with the temptations of life. He also discusses how being at his worst physically is when it can be easiest to give into the temptation of not being the best version of yourself. Giving into temptation really isn't that bad. But allowing yourself to give into despair as a result of this is where long term issues start to arise. A disciplined mind doesn't allow this, and what is the easiest way to create a disciplined mind?

I am not enough
One of the biggest lies believed in this generation is that we are not enough. That who we are, who God created us to be, is not good enough. In Matthew 22:37 the religious leaders at the time tried to test Jesus by asking him which of the commandments were greatest. He responds with 2, stating that they sum up the entirety of the law. The second of these is, 'Love your neighbour yourself'. Meaning, as you would love yourself, love those around you. The problem with this, is that it can be very hard to love ourselves. Without first being able to love yourself, without believing that your identity in God is enough, it's impossible to love others as Jesus did. It's the love of the Father in us, that allows us to love others! We apologise for the camera and audio quality on this video, we are still very much learning x

Sex, drugs, drinking and miracles | Our Stories
Welcome to Our Home! In our very first episode, we start with our own personal stories. Although we've had very different journeys, journeys to faith in particular, we've also shared some incredibly similar experiences - right the way down to both suffering sexual abuse as young children. Throughout our stories there have been various miracles from God, which have created unshakeable foundations within the both us. This is something we're very keen on expressing, that a relationship with God is directly with him. You don't need a church, a pastor or any type of mediator to experience that for yourself - as our stories show! Loving homes are really lacking in this world today. For anyone who doesn't have a home, or may still be searching, ours is open to you :) For any enquiries our email is [email protected]
