Shimmering threads
~Pause a moment, exhale and let your breath meet the wind. Feel the cells of a leaf quiver in anticipation of the wind. In the vastness of the Rocky Mountains, there is a place I have loved dearly for over fifty years — a place where the wind is constantly seeking to chose a body. Wandering…

Zoo Hypotheses
Why have we not had any direct encounters with aliens? One theory that stirs my imagination is the “Zoo Hypotheses” that more advanced extraterrestrial civilizations are just observing us (to learn, or for entertainment?), and we are being given the freedom to develop on our own without outside...

Mountains Rising Everywhere
Mountains Rising Everywhere is an homage of sorts to Joseph Schwantner’s and the mountains rising nowhere which rocked my world when I heard it at age 26 in my first composition class. I had played in band all the way through college, but had never heard anything like Schwantner’s work before.…

Song For My Father
I started composing this for the Soundtrack of your Galaxy Soundcloud contest and missed the deadline. It was composed around my Father's last weeks on this Earth, so it is for him that I realized I made this. I don't think he danced much in his nearly 95 year epic life, at least not that I know...

Are Your Ducks In A Row, Solar Plex-her?
A one day quantum collaboration with Paul Rudy. We tune in from remote location and tap into a "field" to create, Paul with music and myself with animation. We set a specific time frame for the work. When we each finish our piece, Paul sends his audio over and I drop it into my video. Together,...

Allowing and reclaiming self
Created in a day by forging a mutual "field" between artists to connect in non-local time and space. "Getting rid of old stuff clears out space for allowing the new to effortlessly flow in," Paul Rudy. "Sometimes we must go back and reclaim the pieces of ourselves we lost along the way. Sometimes...

Surrender
"Paul Rudy and I created another #onedaycollaboration today. Make sure to turn on the audio. The synchronicity of the title is rather perfect. Without speaking (and actually never truly meeting), he sent me the audio file titled "Surrender" just as I was thinking of ways to animate themes of...

Dark Night Of The Soul
2/20/18 "I saw a video on Instragram, with these blinking eyes surrounded by darkness. They were longing and felt trapped, but not defeated. I turned on the sound and there was none. But I heard sound, in my head. So I emailed Lisa Marie Evans to ask if I could make some sound for it. It was like...
