Perch’s saving grace and curse is that his infantile body was discovered by a man taking his usual shortcut through the sparcely covered woods near his home where he stepped upon the shallow grave Perch was buried in, a step that altered their destinys forever and would eventually gift Perch with a seemingly array supernatural abilities.
