A Fox In Space is a fan animation tribute by one individual that has only seen one episode, but that episode was so good that I felt it was worth doing my best drumwork and mixing when I started working with audio clips. I've been listening to a lot of 'synthwave' and 'retro electro' or whatever they all call it. I just call it "80s synth stylin' stuff". My first step in this direction. Recipe: 1x Mixing Bowl - FL Studio 1x MiniSynth 2x BassDrum 1x resynthesized audio clip (a boat horn in this case, the 'synth lead') ?x Effects. Lots of effects.

A test track using Air Xpand!2. As always, I generally default to trying out piano sounds when I want to know how a plugin will suit me. I found the expressiveness of this plugin to be beyond expectations. Very delicious stuff.

Stress and situational problems have once again rendered the studio mostly inert. That being said, I was able to make something today. Have a taste of Overwatch the holiday Peryton way.

A track made in Acid Music Studio. Purpose, to relieve stress. Most sounds are from Splice sounds. A couple drum parts are via Sony Creative Software's Austerity Measures pack.

Another little test. I'm not dead. But am I alive? Philosophical stuff aside, here's me trying to cram some Chillstep and D&B fundamentals together. For fun.

So yeah. The new mobo and cpu have been in for a week, and I only just remembered that I never tested the 6ms latency mode to see if I could do actual freaking midi performances. I think the track says all, in regards to that. Music is more fun to make when you get to play with it.

The title says it all. Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra's very own Articulate plugin, modulating Oatmeal through Midi CCs. Also included is a modified DSK HQ Drum Machine via DirectWave. Mostly just some technical testing, but it sounds really damn cool.

I got DSK's HQ instrument pack. In FL Studio's own DirectWave format, of course. Expressiveness ho!

So this happened.

Just playing around.

I've been taking a break from making music for a while now. Various life changes going on, yadda yadda who cares amiright (I probably am wrong and people probably do care). Well, I absorbed a bit of power user knowledge RE fl studio and came up with some neat audio buttjiggery. Enjoy. And yes, the genre is intentional. I fancy myself an amateur soundtrack designer.

So I took a nap after making this track and posting it. I came back to take a listen, and I found that somehow...both Dblue Glitch...AND PanCake2 had errored during the rendering. Which was GREAAAAT. But fear not. I recorded straight to disk this time. Everything is as it should be. This track was techno practice. Please enjoy.

I have some pvc pipe and a really bad hacksaw, so I got bored and made a shoddy pipe instrument. Then I recorded, and added reverb. Not bad.

Experimental Techno by Peryton Sound

I felt like making a short trap loop.

Upgrading to Acid Music Studio 10 meant getting a free loop library. Naturally, I went for one of the newer premium Electronica libraries. And then, of course, I had to test both out at the same time. The result is delicious, I think.

* You feel your sins crawling up your back. * The monsters you've killed haunt you. * You hear a faint sound in the distance as you start crossing the barrier. Please listen with headphones.

The third and final variation of this track. I wanted to hear what it would sound like if I cut the end of Ver B in for Ver A. Sounds pretty good and worth sharing, I think.

Version B of the Dearly Beloved remix, featuring an extended length and a mournful variation on "Once Upon A Time". I feel this may be the version that has the feeling I was going for.

In light of some truly sad things happening recently, between various deaths in the public eye as well as the crises of those personally beloved, I present this remix of Ruins. I hope it conveys how I feel well.

Some experimental stuff. Picked up my guitar and decided to record it. Then I embraced the fan noise, and here we are.

This was originally just a jazz practice piece in FL Studio. Then little miss Muffet wormed her way in. Now I'm purple.

So this morning while waiting for the Star Wars matinee time to approach, I ended up making some tem shop remixes. Or rather, I made a remix and then I remixed the remix...twice. And then I imagined Temmie's fight, if she had/has one, being a game of Stepmania/ITG/etc. And then this Stepmania Combo Mix occured.

Just a little bit of screwing around before bedtime. FL Studio's latest update (12.2) came with over 1600 new sounds. Some of them were Foley audio. I couldn't resist. All sounds are from the ModeAudio pack that comes by default with FL 12.2+, all FX are in-house (aka FL Studio plugins) and I didn't take any pleasure from that, nope not at all no not one bit. Maybe.

Commission part deux. This is the Battle theme compliment to Little Lion Prowling, including pre-loop intro.

What started out as a tribute/cover to Undyne's themes, evolved into a unique character theme for a friend who commissioned me. Now their character is stuck in my headcanon for Undertale. Cute little lion-girl. This is the talking/discovery theme.
