Sorry for the break. Things have been coming left and right but I'm back. So get you something to drink, smoke, snack on, or whatever it is that comforts you. and have a sit and kick it with me.

Between work, getting back in the gym, and this Meg and Klay ordeal...I'm exhausted. Y'all know y'all can wear something out real quick!!!

This past week has been CRAZY! High school basketball season is coming to an awesome end, and America has fallen for the old "banana in the tailpipe" once again. Smh...

Today is the last day of Black History Month, so I decided to cover everything: podcasts, television, music, and even fraternities and sororities. Factual error: I crossed into Alpha Phi Alpha on NOVEMBER 7th, 2010. not FEBRUARY 7th of that year. I've been so focused on this month that my mind slipped.

A lot of things are happening, and I wanted to share them with you, especially my BIG news about a new endeavor.

The title of this session on the porch comes from Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth's 1992 hip hop classic They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.). As this season, as well as this year draws to an end, I decided to reminisce over this past year. So let pour up and roll up one last time on the porch before 2025 closes! Peace, and I'll holla at y'all next year!

With alot of stuff happening this past week, and with it being a 4-day weekend for Labor Day, I decided to do two episodes this week. Here's the first of the two.

This week was one for the ages! They got the south 38 hot, and some people are telling things that NOBODY asked for. Whatever you sip on, get a double and whatever you "partake" in, get the strongest you can find. Whew WEE!!!

I chilled all last week, so I watched a lot of TV and movies. Here's my take on all of it.

So many things happened during my vacation that I had to come back and wrap with y'all about it. Welcome to season 4

I'm heading out for another trip tomorrow, and I felt like this would be a perfect time to wrap up the season and go on summer vacation myself. Thanks for rocking with me. I'll see y'all in the fall when football starts! Last week I did my favorite with entirely or majority Caucasian casts. This week, I did sitcoms.

These movies are films that have majority (if not entire) white casts, that have left an impression on me as a black man. Hell, a lot of other black people like them too, whether they will admit it or not.

Had to travel to Germany last week so I wasn't able to tap in with y'all. I decided to drop this episode on Hump Day and chop it up.

Took a sabbatical from rap this week (yes even G-Funk) and it allowed me to just watch some quality television mainly Netflix. They got some good stuff on there!

Fresh back from Cape Verde, I'm up early due to falling asleep as soon as I got home (jet lag). Figured I'd hit the porch at the crack of dawn and rap with y'all...

Just saw "Shooting Guards" on Netflix and BRUH! Agent 0 (Gilbert Arenas) has always been off the chain! Tap in and listen!

With new music released from my favorite artists, my Atlanta Braves rebounding from their pitiful start, and my shows bringing HEAT, I can't really complain. Plus I have a trip to a tropical island coming up. Life is good.

Took last week off and watched a bunch of TV and movies. And heard some new music (that boy Akeem Ali is BACK)! Time for us to catch up.

The weather is getting hotter and so are my shows as well as tensions about certain things that are "for the culture". Just listen...

Duke is still rolling tough in the tourney, there's good music out, and TV is getting GOOD! It's a beautiful time!
