Ep 20: Will Lisa Need A THA Or Is It All In Her Muscles?
Lisa is a massage therapist that has had 2 orthopedic consults. She states one wants to replace her joint and one wants to focus on the muscles. As part of my differential diagnosis, I performed some treatment during the evaluation to figure out if this is more muscular vs more joint related.

Ep 19 Franklin the 5th Turtle
Franklin is an older gentleman with a very sedentary lifestyle that spends an extensive time in long sitting positions such as in a recliner with his feet up. He has developed a rounded thoracic spine which I like to call a turtle shell. He will have to make some lifestyle changes to get his pain under control.

Ep: Maria's Multiple Computer Screen Vertigo
Maria works from home and she has a multiple monitor set up. She recently started having symptoms of vertigo and so she started adjusting her ergonomics and taking breaks more often. Treating her positional vertigo helped with some of her symptoms, and treating her cervicogenic and facial muscle symptoms helped with her brain fog and heaviness sensation.

Ep 17: Misty Falling
Misty has had several falls and now she has knee pain. The pain has affected the quality of her gait and she also has left hip flexor dysfunction which is implicated in the scenario.

Ep 16: Rayna And Her Tablet
Rayna enjoys reading with her tablet in her lap...she also enjoys sitting off center, in her recliner, when watching TV. Both of these activities seem to have led her to strain the left side of her neck and periscapular soft tissue.

Ep 15: Andrea and the Fall
Andrea comes to me for physical therapy for her knee pain after she experienced a fall. The knee itself seems fine, but she seems to have injured the soft tissues around her knee.

Ep 14 Nadine Not Appropriate
I treated Nadine for a finger contracture 2 years ago after a distal phalanx amputation due to melanoma under her finger nail. She has now returned and unfortunately her cancer has spread. What would be appropriate for her low back pain?

Ep 13 Diane Is Too Relaxed
Diane is a returning patient for low back pain however she has recently developed a new symptom which is tremors when she is standing or walking. This is her biggest complaint. It seems that it was medication related.

Ep 12: Gloria and Her Ischial Tuberosity
Gloria has greater trochanter bursitis pain and pain at the ischial tuberosity. I don't know which came first, but she has developed some horrible compensatory biomechanics. I have to get her back on track.

Ep 11 Gayle Dizzy Without Salt, Pinch of Vertigo, Touch of CNS
Gayle has a history of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and she has been complaining of dizziness which improved after she restarted her sodium intake. She does have signs and symptoms of remnants of a peripheral vestibular disorder and possible CNS involvement.

Ep 10 Dan with Cerv Radic and Bilat CTS
Dan is a low voltage technician with lots of overlapping symptoms of cervical radiculopathy and peripheral nerve compression. We have to set up a complex plan of care to steadily address his symptoms.

Ep 9: Adaira Dizzy with Blackouts
Adaira is a young female coming with symptoms of dizziness. My exam however steers me away from BPPV and I find that her symptoms are more likely related to something cardiopulmonary or her depression/anxiety.

Ep 8 ACF Renee Works From Home
Renee has a previous and old ACF. She works from home. She seems to be having a combination of stress and strain/overuse injury from use of her mouse and also cervical radiculopathy. I'm right handed and I use my mouse on the left side to reduce overuse of my right hand. In Windows settings for mouse, you can switch the primary and secondary buttons for your mouse to make it easier to use on the left side.

Ep 7: Kandy ACF Homemaker
Kandy has an ACF in place and there is an order for mechanical cervical traction. It seems that her pain is due to postural strain at home.

Ep 6: Danny With Lumbar Spondy
Danny presents with a diagnosis of lumbar spondylosis but it seems that most of his pain symptoms are related to hip flexor dysfunction and less from his lumbar spine.

Ep: 5 Nancy is Dizzy with BPPV
Nancy comes to us for a first-time treatment of her BPPV. I was able to manage her symptoms well on the first visit and we set up a low-visit frequency plan of care to get her back on track.

Ep: 4 Low back pain furniture and fall
Ken comes to us with a complex medical history involving his low back. He provocated pain while moving furniture and then falling. Based on his report, it seems that his pain is coming from 3 sources, which we will address.

Ep 3: Thoracic and Left Shoulder Pain
Dave was rear ended and reports having neck and left shoulder pains. The assessment reveals he has dysfunctions of his spine as well as his shoulder.

Ep 2: Pain In Neck From Stone
This is a patient who initially presents with what appears to be neck and shoulder dysfunction, but after thorough testing, his RTC did not appear to be involved, and it was more related just to his c spine.

Episode 1: Jeff Unsteady
This is a 62 y/o male being referred for dizziness. He denies dizziness and instead states that he walks uncontrollably fast and becomes unsteady and starts to run into walls and doorways.
