  "Connie the Brain and Me, it's the thought that counts"; is a new comedy that explores the world of our most inner thoughts. Harris, a man of uncertain age is grappling with aging and overloaded with too much information. His world is turned upside down when Connie & the Brain challenge Harris' very existence. Together the three face off to find the right equilibrium of life, laughter and the pursuit of sanity.

Together they learn compassion, fear and hatred of the mysterious light. Kieran Rocks was written by my friend Alexis Kozak. This was a staged reading performed at the Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury on October 24th. The play was inspired by a Pastel by Lori Weisenfel title Kieran Rocks. The podcast was recorded, produced and edited by Evan Krachman

 Clive Jones gains rare access to Tolland Mansfield.  Mansfield is the soft soap magnate of New Jersey, who rarely gives access to the public on his business. Recently Mansfield son has taken away the day to day business duties.  

Two Emperor penguins are starring down at a cell phone stuck in the ice, screen side down.

A cab driver picks up a most unusual fare after midnight. 

Two strangers meet under revival tent, one looking for guidance the other cash. 

A mother takes her son to college. 

Delia, Carmen and Rudy are desperate to find the lost Topaz Yellow Stone to save their families farm. The only thing left to do is have a Seance to bring their dead father's spirit forward to help. Things go a little bit wacky when someone else comes back from the grave.  This play was inspired by the photo.

This is an improvisation of creating a story by reading the NY Times Best sellers List.  This episode features, Middle Grade Hardcovers, and Picture Books. 

Audience members ask the playwright and actors about the play they just heard. 

A political fantasy, The twit, the puppet and the pawn are on trial for their crimes against us all. Cast of characters;  Twit-Alexis Kozak, The Puppet- Matt Drew. Pawn- Scott Visco  and Kilgore Trout-the Judge.  There is also a talk back bonus of the audience sharing their thoughts and questions after the play. 

I read the NY Times Hardcover Best Sellers titles and weave a story together by improvisation. 

I open the NY TIMES Book Review insert and head to the back pages. There is the listing of the top books. I read these titles making a story on the fly. 

I finally get to sit down in the PlaywrightsSpeak studio to interview Alexis Kozak. Aleix shares his thoughts an perspective on his new one man show Alyosha.

Ernesto Caldar is a notorious labor disrupter in Scotland. This tape was recently found when MI6 was investigating the missing man from Ships Inn in 2012. Ernesto Caldar explains to Reg Davis the owner of the Ships Inn, the new labor rules for his bar. 

Larry Parns walks into the Ships Inn to forget about his life. Reg Davis the owner/ bartender confronts Reg on his actions.

What happens when Sister Maria must pronounce her wish to the church? This play was inspired by the work of Joseph Q. Daily- Oil Painting titled Maria's Wish.

A live event was recorded May 21st at the Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury, NJ. 5 staged readings inspired by the works of artists from the Guild. Cassandra Amind the Corn. Lady of the Rose and Magnolia, the first 3 of five are ready to be enjoyed.

I had the opportunity to sit down with John Dias on March 10th to talk about his work as the Artistic Director at the Two River Theater, in Red Bank NJ. John shares his thoughts and stories about working behind the scenes and the challenges to continue to make live theater an important cultural event.  We also had a special guest Sasha, John's dog who comes to work with him. So if you are wondering what the chewing is going on or clanging, it's Sasha. I think Sasha helps add to the realistic qualities of my recordings. I want them to sound real and not over produced in a studio. Thanks to everyone at the Two River Theater to make this possible. Also thanks to Cassie Galasetti, from Social Sidekick for taking the pictures and making the arrangements to make this happen.

I set up my mini- recording gig in her kitchen. We talk about actors, writing and her upcoming new play " Cost of Living". 

This is part one of a two part interview with the playwright Martyna Majok. Martyna graciously allowed me to transform her kitchen into my portable recording studio. This interview covers her life as a playwright in NJ and NY. We also discuss "IronBound", which hit the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in the spring of 2016. I met Martyna in 2012 where she was teaching a class in play writing for the NJ Repertory Theater in Long Branch. I can still hear her voice in my head, guiding me to be an honest writer. I admire her strength and her ability to bring realistic language to characters to life. Sitting in the audience in one her plays, you don't feel like you're watching a play, but real life. A truly miraculous achievement for a talented playwright, my friend, Martyna. Martyna is preparing for her first Broadway play; Cost of Living". Previews will start May 16th, opening night in June 7th. Part two of the interview will launch in March.
