For more than 30 years, Edwin Quarles has lived, worked, raised a family, and built relationships throughout the Lake Norman region. Now he is bringing those relationships, along with his natural curiosity about the people behind them, to WSIC as host of Plugged Into Lake Norman. Edwin's connection to the region runs deep. His children attended and graduated from local schools. He has worked for two of the area's major employers, started and run local businesses, and is an active member of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he has also been a longtime advocate for the region's military and veteran community, including championing efforts to establish the new Veterans Service Office serving the Lake Norman area. His path to radio began as host of WSIC's Huntersville’s Thrive Here Live, a Town of Huntersville, sponsored program.
