 A newly released extended version of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ “Breakdown” arrived Friday. The track, along with the recently released extended version of “American Girl,” will be featured on an upcoming archival collection marking the 50th anniversary of the band’s self-titled debut album.

Former Journey bassist Ross Valory will re-release his debut solo album, All of the Above, on August 21st. The updated edition marks the album’s first release on vinyl and CD and features a new instrumental track, “City Lights,” with former Journey drummer Steve Smith. A music video for the song is now available on YouTube. 

Steve Miller, a board member of Jazz at Lincoln Center, will return to the renowned New York venue on October 9th and 10th for his ninth series of performances celebrating the blues and jazz legends who inspired his career. In a new video, Mellencamp is seen pulling a trailer carrying a workout ball up a hill while jokingly telling viewers, “I stopped smoking” before adding, “I always lie to strangers.” The singer is set to launch the Dancing Words tour on July 10 in Grand Rapids and has promised that every song featured in the show will be a hit. 

Paul McCartney has added another milestone to his record-breaking music career. His latest album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, debuted at No. 1 on the U.K.'s Official Albums Chart, giving him 24 chart-topping albums across his career. The album also opened at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, marking McCartney's 22nd Top 10 album as a solo artist and with Wings. Additionally, it claimed the top spot on the U.S. Top Album Sales chart with 59,500 copies sold.

Perfect Crime, completed in 1994 but never officially released, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the band's wild touring lifestyle. The leaked footage includes extravagant aftershow parties featuring Roman legionary-costumed waiters, scantily clad fans, a whole pig served on a platter, and traditional lederhosen-clad dancers.
