The Rolling Stones built excitement for their upcoming album Foreign Tongues with a major announcement Tuesday at noon ET, followed by a launch party later that same day. Amid the humor and celebration, the band shared a few details about the project.Mick Jagger explained how Robert Smith ended up contributing vocals to the album, while Paul McCartney makes a guest appearance on bass for one track. The album also features a poignant contribution from the band’s late drummer, Charlie Watts, on a song titled “Hit Me in the Head.”Foreign Tongues is scheduled for release on July 10th.

Rock legends Deep Purple show no signs of slowing down. In addition to maintaining a steady presence on the road year after year, the band continues to release new music at an impressive pace. Their 24th studio album, Splat!, is set to arrive on July 3rd, marking their first release since 2024’s =1.The band will kick off a European tour on June 11th in Finland, joined by special guest Kansas. Following the European run, they’ll head to the United States, where their tour begins on August 4th in Raleigh, North Carolina.
