    We recently conducted a survey looking at the experiences and requirements of job seekers! We were keen to understand the drivers for job seeking, the challenges faced and other key factors relevant in looking for a job in Jersey!As well as becoming more informed we wanted quality data, feedback, and a better understanding to provide the best service we can to both the job seeker and our clients.We have been delighted by the diversity of responses; both from the job seekers and the industry/environments that they work within meaning we got just what we wanted from the exercise!Some of the team at Park got together to discuss the findings and this is the recording of what we shared.     Park "The Wellbeing Series" with Grant Henderson

    This week we are delighted to start a new series of podcasts focused on Wellbeing and in this episode we welcome Grant Henderson from Active Chiropractic Clinic. Grant is an experienced McTimoney Chiropractor, and has been practising in Jersey for the last 30 years. As well as being a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors he has undertaken extensive training as a Medical Acupuncturist, gaining a PGDip in Western Medical Acupuncture. Soon after arriving in Jersey, Grant recognised the need for professional workstation advice and trained as a workstation assessor. He provides a consultancy service to a wide range of employers in Jersey to enhance staff wellbeing. He carries out workstation assessments, offers seminars on improving posture in the workplace and provides specialist office equipment including sit stand desks and ergonomic office chairs. Grant is passionate about posture and has performed thousands of assessments for employers, helping thousands of office workers in Jersey to be more comfortable, more relaxed and more productive at work.     Life as a Trainee Fund Administrator

Perhaps lots of options are being put your way, “you should go into finance” is often suggested, but what actually does “ going into finance” mean?? There are some great options in finance and in this series of podcasts we shall take each sector (finance and everything in between) in turn and delve into the nitty gritty, what do you actually do on a day to day basis? Moving to Jersey in 2000, Claire ran the St Brelade’s Bay Hotel, then opened the refurbished Royal Yacht.
