Christmas doesn’t always seem holly jolly. People lose their jobs, houses burn down, there are car accidents, people get sick, and loved ones die. Why? What is magical about that? How are we supposed to get in the Christmas Spirit in the middle of this wretched brokenness? Sometimes, at out weakest points, it can feel like God is mean. But before we give into that thought let’s consider first that maybe, just maybe, we’re missing something. Listen as Pastor Matt grieves the passing of his Uncle Tom, and points to how Christmas can be even sweeter in times of suffering.

Noah Goggans encourages us with his testimony of how God has transformed Him from a young man marked by anger and lust into a new creation; joyful, loving, and more desiring of the things of God than the things of this world.

Prentiss Allen blesses us with her confession of what God has done in her life to give her confidence and joy in the knowledge that she is His.  God is faithful; we can trust, and even have joy, in the hard trials of life because we know that He is working our good in it all.
