Pretty BAD Movies: League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Don't worry, we're back with another career killer. LXG, as the kids call it, is on deck this month and it sure fits this year's theme. What it lacks in a compelling story, it makes up for in pure boredom. Oh well, come check out the best Sean Connery impressions you'll hear this year I'm sure.

  2. 37

    Pretty Good Special: The Homies

We take a small break from a terrible list of career killer films to have a little fun. This time IN PERSON. That's right, ya boy Brett ventured out into the wilds on Ohio to see his favorite cohost Pat. We were joined by longtime friend of the pod, Henry, as we complete another completely unhinged tier list for your enjoyment. Back to the bad film grind in July but for now, ENJOY!

  3. 36

    Pretty BAD Movies: Battlefield Earth

Well the critics and memes weren't lying, this movie is an absolute stinker. And why is it soooooo blue? Was there a sale on blue gels or something? Anyway, tune to hear all about Rastafarian John Travolta walking around on stilts doing some kind of voice while ooga booga cave people of the year 3000AD fight back.

  4. 35

    Pretty BAD Movies: The Postman

THREE HOURS!!! This boring, self-indulgent "patriotic" mess is THREE HOURS! Anyway...come enjoy our take on the famous Kevin Costner ego project that is The Postman. At least we all know if the world goes to shit, we can all rely on the US Postal Service to save us all. https://discord.gg/njuNAVAyBQ

  5. 34

Pretty BAD Movies: The 13th Warrior

Antonio Banderas plays a Middle Eastern man with a thick Spanish accent who decides to join up with Vikings he doesn't understand to fight an enemy he's never heard of all for...reasons? Captivating, I know. Well join us, warriors, as we discuss this dud.

  6. 33

    Pretty BAD Movies: CutThroat Island

Well, this one isn't terrible...but don't worry, it's also not good by any measure. This one is a grossly miscast epic adventure with uneven tone and pacing. If you like explosions though this one may be for you. So hoist the sails and come along for the pirating escapades with us! 7. 32

    Pretty BAD Movies: Hudson Hawk

Happy 2026, nerds! The theme this year is....CAREER KILLERS. We dive right in with a truly awful Bruce Willis film that is completely nonsensical and devoid of any joy. At least there was Frank Stallone? Anyway, buckle up, folks, it's going to be an interesting year!

  8. 31

Pretty Good Special: Jingle All the Way AND Year End Wrap-Up

As our year of Arnie wraps up we delve right into the iconic Xmas movie, Jingle All the Way. It really puts you into that consumerism spirit with some laughs along the way. Make sure you stay until the end to hear our final rankings of the Arnie films we watched in 2025. Have a great holiday season and you'll hear from us again in 2026!

  9. 30

    Pretty Good Movies: Twins

The year is coming to a close and the penultimate movie for your consideration is 1988's Twins. A time when you got away with a lot more in a PG movie it seems. Finally nice to see some actual chemistry between costars as well. There's a lot of plot(s) going on but it's well done and leads to a rewarding 90+ min experience.

  10. 29

    Pretty Good Movies: Red Heat

What happens when you team up Arnold attempting a Russian accent with Jim Belushi doing whatever the heck it is he does? You get a terrible movie with two leads and zero chemistry. At least we get to see Gina Gershon a couple times though? Buckle up, and take a trip on the garbage truck with us.

  11. 28

    Pretty Good Movies: The Terminator

Back on track with a classic. Can you believe Pat has also never seen the Terminator movies? Insane! Well let's dive into Arnie's iconic role that solidified him as a leading man by having very little dialogue. Less is more when it comes to lines for our main man. twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  12. 27

Pretty Good Movies: Conan the Barbarian

Another early Arnie film this month BUT one that is actually watchable. Heck, I'll even say it was "Pretty Good". Tune in and let us know if you agree. It's full of Arnie noises and what seems like just a little too much horse violence. twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  13. 26

Pretty Good Movies: Hercules in New York

Sorry for the false advertising, this in not good, it's also not pretty good, it's absolute trash. Never watch this movie, EVER. I'm still working on forgiveness as Pat made me watch this movie. Tune in to find out just how wretched this stinking turd left in a hot car truly is. witch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  14. 25

    Pretty Good Movies: Predator

Can you believe Pat has NEVER seen Predator? That is absolutely insane so this month we right that wrong and dive in to a film with so many meme origins. New Hulu series is out and Badlands is on its way so what better time to introduce Pat to the Yautja than now? twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  15. 24

    Pretty Good Movies: Maggie

So, can Arnie actually act? Let's find out together as we discuss the post apocalyptic drama that is Maggie. Arnie has to be a big sad boy in this one and a loving father at the same so it's quite an ask for our favorite heavy object carrier. There was some buzz around this indie film at the time of its release but was it deserved? twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  16. 23

Pretty Good Movies: End of Days

Well this month I wanted to reset our palates with the continued year of Arnie and, boy, did we accomplish that with this giant flaming turd of a movie. Lock in for a nonsensical plot, lazy acting, and a film that can't figure out what genre it wants to be. Backing to mining Arnie gold in May! twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  17. 22

    Pretty Good Movies: Total Recall

Happy MARSch, everyone! That's right, Arnie 2025 continues and this month it's another classic - Total Recall. And of course not that garbage remake but the OG masterpiece showing off some interesting practical effects and less puns. Arnie really showing growth as artist in this one. So buckle up and get your ass to Mars with your boys! twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  18. 21

    Pretty Good Movies: Commando

THE YEAR OF ARNIE IS UPON US!!!! That's right, we decided that Arnie desired an entire year to fully appreciate. Pat hasn't seen a lot of these absolute gems so it makes it even more fun. He is a one man killing machine and they kidnapped his daughter. Do you think he can literally kill everyone including a private militia? Tune in to find out. twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  19. 20

Pretty Good Movies: The Running Man

Happy New Year, NERDSSSSS!!! Pat and Brett are back with an absolute banger of an action film. This may be when Arnie peaked. He really activates his "acting" skills in this gem and bought some dad jokes wholesale to fill up this baby. I hope your New Years resolution was to spend more time listening to us. twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  20. 19

Pretty Good Year: The 2024 Wrap Up Show

2024 really flew by didn't it? We watched 11 movies together this year and it was time well spent with you all. It's time for Brett and Pat to rank the viewed movies of 2024. Do you think we agree or disagree or aggressively disagree? Tune in to see if our friendship survived 2024 and if we'll see you all in 2025! twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  21. 18

    Pretty Good Movies: Longlegs

This month is a film neither of your pretty good friends, Pat and Brett, have seen: Longlegs. Did Nic Cage get to be Nic Cage? How long were this guys legs? Is there a daddy joke anywhere in there? All questions we try to answer this month along with some side chat about Halloween and Brett's amateur photography. As always, join the Discord and catch Pat on Twitch every week. And stay tuned in December for our 2024 wrap up show! twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  22. 17

    Pretty Good Movies: Troll Hunter

We spent our time exploring the Norwegian wilderness hunting trolls alongside Hans and some college dopes. Join us as we talk about a movie with one of the most frustrating endings we've seen. Creature effects and CGI were both really good and make up for weak plot points so tune in to find out if it's worth your time!

  23. 16

Pretty Good Movies: Dinner in America

Are you a punk rocker? Are you a socially awkward weirdo? Are you directionless and seeking love? Or are you too cool for all that? Either way, check out Dinner in America as it gets the Brett and Pat seal of approval. It's a dark comedy and a coming of age tale not often told but a great journey. twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  24. 15

    Pretty Good Movies: BASEketball

This month we are seeing if a slapstick comedy from South Park creator's Matt and Trey can hold up today. It's got jokes and it's got visual gags throughout but the question remains...does any of it land? Well, time for you time find out I guess. twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  25. 14

Pretty Good Movies: The Kings of Summer

We are in the deep heat of the summer and it's a perfect time for a coming of age tale set against the backdrop of a high school summer in Ohio. The writing, the acting, and the characters of this film will captivate you and with it's R rating, language wasn't toned down to make it hit that PG-13 summer market. Even as a R, it's not a boner comedy about sex and boobies but just a really fun film. Give it a shot and listen along to how Brett and Pat enjoyed it as well. twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  26. 13

Pretty Good Movies: The Machine Girl

Blood, check. Gore, check. Bad practical effects, check. Even worse CGI, check. Nonsensical plot? You betcha! I don't think you really need to know that much more about Machine Girl. It's truly a spectacle you have to witness for yourself. Tune in as we try to make sense out of this Japanese masterpiece. twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  27. 12

    Pretty Good Movies: Oldboy (2003)

It's Brett turn to pick again and we know what that means! That's right, Pat is going to be un-comf-ort-able. Join in as we discuss a Korean classic that got Brett into the Korean film genre. This film heads in directions that no one sees coming and asks the audience, "does anyone win in the end?" twitch.tv/epiccouchtime twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh https://discord.gg/gdTEUm9p6c

  28. 11

Pretty Good Movies: The Darjeeling Limited

Brett stays on his best behavior as long as he can as the boys discuss one of Pat's fav films, and directors Wes Anderson, all while hoping Pat doesn't get swept away to Oz. There's time for Wes critique at the end that turns Pat into a man who paces in fury. Enjoy!

  29. 10

    Pretty Good Movies: Green Room

Have you ever wondered what would happen if an unknown punk band dead-set on keeping it real witnesses a horrible crime only to find out the true nightmare begins when they encounter a Patrick Stewart, with an opposing belief system than Jean-Luc Picard but with all the cunning, deciding their fate? Well then, it sounds like Green Room is a much watch. Pat and Brett discuss the best film we've watched so far this year and why, in the end, past it's visceral production it should be a goto for any fan of the thriller genre. http://twitch.com/epiccouchtime http://twich.com/brettingtonfrothingslosh

  30. 9

    Pretty Good Movies: Blank Check

Pat is a Disney adult and Brett has diarrhea. Join us as we discuss a movie that not only did NOT hold up but probably wasn't good to begin with. Feel free to watch it and follow along if you need to scratch that ultimate masochistic itch. http://twitch.tv/epiccouchtime http://twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh

  31. 8

Pretty Good Movies: The Last Starfighter

It's ya boys Pat and Brett as promised. We briefly catch up on our holidays and dive right into the star of the show: The Last Starfighter. Brett finally got Pat to watch one of his favorite childhood movies. Have a listen and see what Pat thinks about the film 40 years later! https://www.twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh https://www.twitch.tv/epiccouchtime

  32. 7

    Pretty Good Future

We've been gone for awhile so it was time we got together and talked about the future of the PGPU. Join Pat and Brett as they discuss where things are headed, where things have been, and how things are currently going. Http://twitch.tv/epiccouchtime Http://twitch.tv/brettingtonfrothingslosh

  33. 6

Pretty Good Special: Don't Be THAT Guy

It's a PGPU Special! The boys are reunited and recording this episode in Pat's backyard while smoking cigars and judging the personality traits of garbage people. Tune in and find out if you are one of the Homies or need to go right to Jail without passing Go. This was a ton of fun so tune in!

  34. 5

Pretty Good Tiers: The Definitive Fast Food Tier

Ya boys are back, baby! This time we debate the merits of your favorite fast food chains. Tune in so you can have your opinion validated or find out why you opinion is completely wrong. This isn't up for debate. We are the tastemakers and we will not accept any backtalk! Also, thanks for tuning in like always.

  35. 4

Pretty Good Tiers: We Have the MEATS

Pat was afraid that a meat tier wouldn't have enough content but what Pat didn't factor in was that Brett was in full Friday mode with a box of wine no F's to be seen. THis devolves into what you would expect, honestly, so come enjoy our usual brand of nonsense. Let us know what meat you would populate in your S aka b-hole tier!

  36. 3

Pretty Good Tiers: The Definitive Soda Tier

The boyz are back and we're ranking sodas this time. Pat was in charge of making the tier which will become self evident as the episode progresses. As a bonus, we also pop the top on the new Sierra Mist replacement Starry and give our opinion on this new potable. Blame the just disrespectful amount of sugar in these drinks as we go off the rails several times. Hope you enjoy and we'll talk to you all again soon!

  37. 2

Pretty Good TV: Wednesday (2022) w/ Pat and Henry

EPISODE CONTAINS SPOILERS YO! Sorry for the long break but we are back! Pat and Henry join me this podcast to discuss the Netflix hit show, Wednesday. I think we talked about the actual show occasionally between the nonsense that occurs when you get us three geniuses on a call. More to come so stay tuned for even more shenanigans.

  38. 1

Pretty Good TV: Stranger Things S4P2 and Prey

WARNING: EPISODE CONTAINS SPOILERS We dive right back into Part 2 of Stranger Things Season 4. We have THOUGHTS. You'll want to listen to this one as it goes off the rails pretty often and occasionally steers itself back on track but not until after some serious nonsense. After the ST discussion we hop over to Prey, the Hulu original Predator prequel/reboot. Stay tuned for some pretty strong and accurate French accents. Thanks as always for listening and catch you next time!
