**Bâtard Tronique** (de son vrai nom Fabien Maksymowycz) est un musicien et producteur de musique électronique français né en 1985. Originaire de Saint-Malo, il commence à composer à l'adolescence sur des jeux vidéo avant de passer sur ordinateur. Acteur hyperactif et influent de la scène underground, son style musical d'origine est le breakcore (un mélange rapide de drum & bass et de techno hardcore avec des effets de glitches), très influencé par des artistes comme Aphex Twin ou Venetian Snares. Au fil des années, il a grandement élargi sa palette en explorant l'ambient, le trip-hop, le dub, le hip-hop (où il lui arrive de rapper sous d'autres pseudonymes comme Slawowycz) ainsi que des collaborations expérimentales mêlant dub et musique orchestrale néo-classique.
