This verse also happens to be one of my favorites:) 24 of 81 The moon shines Only in darkness Only when it faces the sun There are times The earth blocks the moon From the sun Then too, the earth Is in darkness The moon knows The earth knows To welcome the dark To welcome the rest It is the natural way of things Soon there will be light The earth knows To welcome the glow of the moon Then too it has light in the dark Shine when the Tao asks you to shine Bask in the glow of others Rest when the Tao has given you darkness
