The playoff push continues, and you are not ready to hear what a certain flightless bird has for his pre-game meal. Spoiler - neither was Julie.

Just when we thought we were out of the playoffs, the Cockroach Caps pulled us back in. We go through the week that was, including yet ANOTHER late-stage coaching change, As well as some prank highlights and true thighlights. This episode was recorded prior to the Rangers game on 4/5.

This week we talk about what has become unimportant hockey for the Capitals, the new kid, the fact that one should not turn to hockey for any semblance of moral clarity and a bunch of other stuff. All the highlights, lowlights and thighlights - because thighlights are for everyone.

The Washington Capitals are too dumb to die. We lost some games, but also ended someone else's 8 game winning streak. And everyone's favorite woo girl has a new nickname for our favorite team. Also Julie has never seen Forrest Gump, and what would happen if hockeys went to the Oscars?

All we have to say is that we woke up on trade deadline day and thought we were still dreaming. We have manifested the John Carlson trade, and we won't hear anything different.

We're back after our own Olympic break. We're discussing everything from curling to skimo to (of course) hockey and also, how hair is important.

We were covered in snowcrete and kept from each other (and you!) for way too long, but we're back to talk about all of the Caps games we may not have watched and some that we did, news about draft prospects, Olympics corner, and way too much about the Minnesota Wild (unless you ask Julie).
