Life and Death Are in the Power of the Tongue

Dina and Katie are back on the couch, talking about something the Lord made impossible to ignore — the power of what we say out loud. Rooted in Proverbs 18:21, this episode gets real fast: word curses we don't even know we're speaking, why the enemy has zero access to your thoughts but hears everything you declare, and what it actually looks like when a friend loves you enough to call you out mid-sentence. Dina also opens up about losing her mom in 2020 and what it meant to be held by the prayers of hundreds of people during the hardest season of her life. Grab a seat on the couch — this one will stick with you.

  2. 16

A Proverb a Day Keeps the Devil Away

Katie and Dina dive deep into their shared daily practice of reading a proverb each day, exploring how this simple discipline has transformed their lives and deepened their relationship with God. They read through Proverbs 8 together, discussing the personification of wisdom, the fear of the Lord, and how biblical wisdom guides practical obedience in everyday moments - from small acts of kindness to major life decisions. The hosts also share personal stories about listening to God's voice, the importance of godly character, and how Proverbs serves as a daily guide for making wise choices that honor God over our flesh.

  3. 15

    Prayer vs. Intercession

What if prayer wasn't something you had to perform, but simply a place you get to be known? In this episode, we talk about what it really looks like to draw near to God—honestly, humbly, and in every moment—and how intercession becomes a powerful way of carrying others before Him. If you've ever wondered how to hear His voice, grow in discernment, or make prayer a natural part of your life, this conversation is for you.

We talk about "dropping the hanky" in a healthy way—being warm, open, and inviting without chasing or operating from a place of lack. From guarding your heart and maintaining mystery to trusting God's timing over your own, this episode unpacks how to build relationships with intention, self-respect, and alignment.

Dating Series Part 2: Leave Them Better Than You Found Them

In this episode, we're getting real about dating—the tension between what we want and what God is actually asking of us. We talk about healing after heartbreak, how unhealed parts of us can attract the wrong people, and the patterns that keep us stuck in "almost" relationships or settling for less than what's aligned. We unpack what it looks like to truly trust God in dating—honoring yourself and men, not trying to lead or fix someone, and having the discernment to walk away when it's not right. It's honest, a little confronting, and a reminder that doing it God's way might cost you in the moment, but it won't lead you to the wrong person.

  6. 12

Dating Series Part 1: The Preparation Season

Dating isn't just about finding someone—it's about becoming someone who is ready. In this episode, we dive into the preparation process of dating, asking the hard questions: Are you truly led by God, or are you trying to fill a void? We talk about healing, identity, and why knowing your worth is essential before stepping into anything serious. We also explore the beauty of singleness as a sacred season—not a waiting room, but a time to be refined, whole, and deeply rooted in God. From surrendering your own desires to trusting Him as your matchmaker, this conversation is a reminder that what's meant for you won't miss you, and that the healthiest relationships are built when you allow God to do the inner work first.

  7. 11

    God's Desire for Purity

We talk about the tension between desire and obedience, the reality of hidden struggles, and why choosing God's design leads to freedom—not regret. 8. 10

Waiting on the Lord with Hopeful Expectation

In this episode, we talk about trusting God in both the waiting and the receiving of God's will for our lives. We talk about how His power is made perfect in our weakness, and what it looks like to wait with hopeful expectation—not just for an outcome, but for more of Him. From navigating singleness to understanding why being equally yoked matters, this conversation is an honest look at surrender, timing, and believing that God is never late—even when the waiting feels heavy.

  9. 9

Guarding Your Heart Above All Else

In this episode, we unpack Proverbs 4:23 and what it really means to guard your heart. In Hebrew, "guard" carries the idea of keeping watch like a prison guard—actively protecting what God has placed inside of you. We talk about how the spiritual realm influences our hearts, why God calls us to live in the fear of the Lord and pursue holiness, and what it looks like when old temptations try to pull you back. From hardened hearts being made soft again to facing the same tests until we finally pass them, this conversation is about learning how to faithfully protect the heart God entrusted to us.

Living for an Audience of One

What does it actually look like to live for God instead of other people's opinions? In this episode, we have a real conversation about dating, purity, fearing man, and choosing obedience even when it's unpopular. Looking at the Israelites and key scriptures, we unpack what it means to stop performing for the crowd and start living for an audience of One.

  12. 6

    The Perfect Instagram Wife

In this episode, we slow things down and talk honestly about social media, image, and the pressure to look like you have it all together—when real life is anything but. From instant gratification and comparison to faith, marriage, suffering, and learning to let go, we reflect on what actually matters, drawing from the wisdom of Ecclesiastes and the quiet work God does beneath the surface.

  13. 5

    Masculine vs. Feminine Design

In this episode, Katie and Dina explore God's original design for women to live in true femininity—not fueled by hustle, hardness, or self-reliance, but marked by softness, strength, and holy pursuit. Through Scripture and their own personal journeys, they unpack the difference between a woman who is strong and feminine and one who has learned to survive by becoming hard, inviting listeners into the freedom of fully stepping into their God-given design.

  14. 4

    Katie's Story

In this episode, Katie shares her story with honesty and courage—reflecting on the seasons that shaped her, the pain that marked her, and the faith that carried her through. From early experiences that left lasting impressions to moments that quietly altered the course of her life, Katie shares the journey that shaped who she is today. She speaks to what it was like to grow up holding faith and hurt at the same time, how certain experiences altered the way she saw herself, and how unhealed wounds began to echo into later years. This is a story of survival before it ever becomes a story of freedom. But somewhere along the way, everything was interrupted. The Lord met her in the places she had learned to hide, touched the parts of her story she thought were beyond repair, and began rewriting what shame had tried to name. What followed was not instant resolution, but a slow, holy unraveling—one that changed her identity, her direction, and her understanding of healing. This episode is an invitation into that journey. For anyone who has learned to live around their pain, this conversation asks a vulnerable question: What if freedom is closer than you think—and what if God is already there, waiting?

  15. 3

She recalls her distant relationship with the Lord, and how she remembers often thinking - she would never be Christian enough to make it to heaven. Dina goes into talking about secret sin, what led to the divorce, and what life was like for her handling that painful season.  Come along and learn more about Dina's story, as she dives into her journey of how she discovered the love of God in an impossibly hard time of pain, betrayal, and loss.
