Call #33 In today's episode of Quarantine Soup, we return to the basics with my friend Sean. Sean is an actor, writer and photographer who recently moved to New York but is currently residing in Southern Massachusetts. Sean and his Partner Donnla contracted Covid-19 back in April. thankfully they have both made a full recovery. In today's episode of Quarantine Soup we did something a little different. A couple of weeks ago I was dropped off and picked up on the Mass Pike headed towards Fargo, ND. Gabe and John, who have been on the show before, their brother Noah and their father Russ and I all drove across the country together. I decided to produce an episode of the show in the car, while we were driving. I thought it fitting to document that moment in time. One of my first meetings of new and old faces since the beginning of the pandemic. I had such a joy producing this episode, thank you to the boys for letting me hit record.

Call #32 - My Good Friend Keara In today's Episode of Quarantine Soup, I speak with my good friend Keara. In addition to being an incredible singer, she is also an incredible visual artist. Keara is currently in Baltimore, MD creating commissioned portraits and donating part of the proceeds to BLM (Black Lives Matter) movements. Keara and I graduated from college together. Freshmen year, we became close friends quite quickly, bonding over our love of movies and memes.  I haven't seen Keara since before quarantine happened and I miss her dearly. Call #31 - My New Friend Shalin On today's episode of Quarantine Soup, I speak with my new friend Shalin. Shalin and I met virtually through Instagram and she agreed to be on the podcast. She is currently competing to be the next Maxim Cover Girl. I had such an incredible time getting to know here a bit more over the phone and hopefully when this all over we can meet in person.

Call #29 - My Good Friend Madeline In today's episode of Quarantine Soup, I speak with my good friend, Madeline.  Madeline is an actress and cinephile living in Wisconsin, which recently reopened its doors.  We attended college together at UWSP (University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point) and became friends as soon as we learned we both loved Wes Anderson. I know, wild. Anyway, Madeline is a hoot. Tune in as we discuss Sky-High special features, trading fruit in animal crossing, and old acting habits coming back to haunt us.

Abigail has been working on the frontlines of the global pandemic and shares with me her perspective. Tune in as we discuss a day in the life of Abigail, how she is coping with the added pressure and her fear of what is still to come. As the current global crisis has been slowly rising, Eric's job has had to rapidly adapt to how his business operates. Whether it be installing a live feed to offer virtual funerals or taking extra precautions with COVID victims, tune in to this unique perspective.

Eli is also dating previous caller, Cole. Eli is an incredible human being and artist and I am so grateful to have collaborated with him on so many projects. Call #23 - My Good Friend Bryce On today's episode of Quarantine Soup, I speak with my good friend Bryce. Bryce is back in NYC currently living with a previous caller, John and others, including his fiancee Megan! As he has been homebound in the global epicenter of the virus, Bryce and his roomies have had to come up with innovative ways to stay active and healthy. Bryce and I went to college together and I also lived with him for a few months this past year. Tune in as we discuss how he is keeping busy, preparing for his upcoming marriage, and practicing social distancing as best he can. 

Call #22 - My Mother's Colleague Shana (and a new friend to me) In today's episode of Quarantine Soup, I speak with my mother's colleague, Shana Patterson. In addition to being a new friend to me, Shana is a licensed dietician and nutritionist, as well as a public health consultant. In the current global crisis, she has been helping others in public health in accessing the digital tools they need to further their work. Shana also recently recovered from Covid-19. Tune in as we discuss her thoughts on the current state of public health, access to healthy food, and what it was like to have the novel Corona Virus.

Call #20 - My Dad In today's episode of Quarantine Soup, I speak with my Dad. My Dad is back in Moorhead, MN now teaching classes online. He is a ceramics teacher at NDSU (North Dakota State University.) Today I caught him while he was working on a welding project for his van. Check out his Instagram for more details. Tune in as we discuss his recovery, a new love for content creation, and what it's like to still be in NYC. David is an incredible human who expresses his truest self so beautifully. Call #18 - My Good Friend Erin On today's episode of Quarantine Soup, I speak with my good friend Erin.  Erin is a Renaissance Woman living in Milwaukee, WI. As well as being creative through so many avenues, Erin works for 88Nine Radio Milwaukee. Erin and I attended college together at UWSP (University of Wisconsin -Stevens Point) and have been friends ever since! We have collaborated on many projects before in the past and we recently pulled out an old college assignment from Dr. Ingersoll's class to work on together. Call #17 - My Good Friend Justin On today's episode of Quarantine Soup, I speak with my good friend Justin. Justin is a playwright and director living in Milwaukee. he is also the co-creator of Then We Game, a podcast that explored the wide world of video games, past and present. After recently finishing the podcast, and the second iteration of his play Mars Lost, Justin is preparing to be a father. In college, we used to call him Dadbauer. Is it life imitating art or the other way around, either way, its incredible. Justin will be an incredible Dadbauer. Justin and I attended college together at UWSP (University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point) and haven't seen each other in quite a while. Tune in as we catch up, laugh a lot, and sometimes even cry. Call #16 - My Good Friend Reagan On today's episode of Quarantine Soup, I speak with my good friend, Reagan. Reagan is an actor based out of NYC, but left for his home of Chicago when the virus started to get out of hand. Reagan and I spent two summers up in Maine together while working and performing at a resort called Quisisana. He also attended college with previous calls, Gabe and Aaron. Tune in as we discuss Minecraft, leaving New York and what the future may hold in these strange times.

JFD is originally from the Fargo-Moorhead Area, where I also grew up. And he attended UWSP (The University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point), my alma mater as well. I even subleted a room from him once in Brooklyn while he was away on a contract. JFD is the older brother of Call #1's, Gabe. JFD is one incredible human being. Call #14 - My Good Friend and Roommate Florencia In this episode of Quarantine Soup, I speak with my good friend and roommate Florencia. Florencia is a photographer and graphic designer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is also the co-editor of the WMN Zine. We lived together until we both fled the apartment for extraneous circumstances, COVID-19 related. Tune in as we gossip and speak of lost love. All my love to you.

Jeremy is the CEO and founder of Transmyt, a media marketing company that focuses on SMB's, as he says. Jeremy has also recently recovered from having COVID-19. Stay tuned as we discuss his battle with COVID-19, how his company is now busier than ever and catching up on lost time.

In today's episode of Quarantine Calls, I speak with my Mom. My mother and stepfather are in the middle of moving from Moorhead, MN to St. Paul, MN. In this episode of Quarantine Calls, I speak with my good friend Aaron. Aaron is an actor based out of NYC but is currently in Tennessee with family while waiting out the Covid-19 Crisis. Aaron and I met working and performing at a resort together called Quisisana. The first summer we worked together we were cabin mates. Aaron is also a mutual friend and college classmate of past call Gabe. A dear dear friend and one of the kindest people I know.

Whether its playing bridge online with his friends or learning how to use zoom to discuss important financial decisions for the Brookline Senior Center, grandpa Barr has had to adapt.
