    A Pandemic Extraction Road Trip

    In today's episode of Quarantine Soup we did something a little different. A couple of weeks ago I was dropped off and picked up on the Mass Pike headed towards Fargo, ND. Gabe and John, who have been on the show before, their brother Noah and their father Russ and I all drove across the country together. I decided to produce an episode of the show in the car, while we were driving. I thought it fitting to document that moment in time. One of my first meetings of new and old faces since the beginning of the pandemic. I had such a joy producing this episode, thank you to the boys for letting me hit record.

    Call #32 - My Good Friend Keara In today's Episode of Quarantine Soup, I speak with my good friend Keara. In addition to being an incredible singer, she is also an incredible visual artist. Keara is currently in Baltimore, MD creating commissioned portraits and donating part of the proceeds to BLM (Black Lives Matter) movements. Keara and I graduated from college together. Freshmen year, we became close friends quite quickly, bonding over our love of movies and memes.  I haven't seen Keara since before quarantine happened and I miss her dearly. Justin is a playwright and director living in Milwaukee. he is also the co-creator of Then We Game, a podcast that explored the wide world of video games, past and present. After recently finishing the podcast, and the second iteration of his play Mars Lost, Justin is preparing to be a father. In college, we used to call him Dadbauer. Is it life imitating art or the other way around, either way, its incredible. Justin will be an incredible Dadbauer. Justin and I attended college together at UWSP (University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point) and haven't seen each other in quite a while. Tune in as we catch up, laugh a lot, and sometimes even cry. I even subleted a room from him once in Brooklyn while he was away on a contract. JFD is the older brother of Call #1's, Gabe. JFD is one incredible human being.
