Radio Danya is a podcast devoted to promoting and showcasing St. Louis talent, past and present. You will hear the background and music of featured artists, learn about upcoming shows, tours, and album releases, and gain a deeper appreciation for the genuine skill and talent that comes out of this city.A little about me: I started my work in music in 1999 when I was the intern on the Rock and Roll morning show on 97FM The Rock with Randy Raley and Mike Doran. From there, I piggy-backed radio jobs with our sister station, 105.7 The Point, working on both stations as an on air talent. After Sinclair Broadcasting Corp. was purchased by Emmis Communications, The Rock was no longer, but fortunately, The Point carried on. Eventually, I would again piggy-back jobs between The Point and 104.1 The Mall. I took a brief break from radio to pursue a college degree in social work.I received my BS from SIUE and my MSW from SLU. I returned to work at 101.1 The River until the format changed to Movi
