Lassen wir Jesus ins Boot? - Gespräch mit Thorsten Giertz
In der Podcast-Folge "Blick in die Bibel" am Samstag sprechen Diakon Thorsten Giertz und Moderator Mathias Peter zum Abschluss der Woche darüber, wie man Ostern im Alltag weiterleben kann: indem man jeden Tag neu Hoffnung zulässt und offen auf andere zugeht. Im Bibeltext des Tages geht es dann um Jesus, der über das Wasser zu seinen Jüngern läuft, die im Boot auf dem See sind und zunächst große Angst vor ihm haben. Giertz erklärt: Es geht nicht darum, dass Jesus mit dem Laufen auf dem Wasser etwas beweisen wil, sondern um Vertrauen. Jesu Worte "Habt keine Angst" gelten auch heute. Oft merken wir gar nicht, dass Jesus schon längst "mit im Boot" ist. Die Botschaft: Er ist immer da – auch in schwierigen Momenten. Eine Folge, die Mut macht und lange nachklingt – unbedingt anhören!Aus dem Johannesevangelium: Als es Abend geworden war, gingen die Jünger Jesu zum See von Galiläa hinab, bestiegen ein Boot und fuhren über den See, auf Kafárnaum zu. Es war schon dunkel geworden und Jesus war noch nicht zu ihnen gekommen. Da wurde der See durch einen heftigen Sturm aufgewühlt. Als sie etwa fünfundzwanzig oder dreißig Stadien gefahren waren, sahen sie, wie Jesus über den See kam und sich dem Boot näherte; und sie fürchteten sich. Er aber rief ihnen zu: Ich bin es; fürchtet euch nicht! Sie wollten ihn zu sich in das Boot nehmen, aber schon war das Boot am Ufer, das sie erreichen wollten.
