    Radio Fore - Witches

In today’s cultural exploration of all things beyond the wall, ‘The Desolate North’ has been invited to spend the day with Priscilla and Margaret, two alternative healers from Sheffield, who share their conversation about good manners, their profession, and the importance of biscuits. Listeners should be aware that the following program does contain 'Northern Vowels'.

    Radio Fore - Money Talks

In today’s Money Talks we meet workshop inspirer, life facilitator, and disambiguation artist, Lynn Pecker. Radio Fore - Outside the Box

The work of Marcel Proust amounts to a masterpiece of world literature; a remarkable output which explores every facet of the human experience. So, as he is famous for writing a single book that no-one now reads, we’ve asked him to re-write Fifty Shades of Grey, the single book that no-one should be allowed to read, but everyone does.

    Radio Fore - Komsomol Kids

‘Archive on Fore’ examines the origins, impact and legacy of Komsomolkids, a forgotten classic of children’s television. Combining the endearing animation of other children’s programming of the period, with an unremitting Marxist-Leninist analysis of capitalist power structures, Komsomolkids became an instant classic, but one that is now largely omitted in reviews of broadcasts of the period.

Radio Fore - Romantics in Recession

As part of an ongoing strand, ‘Radio Fore’ is exploring how the current economic crisis is affecting Britain’s Romantic poet community and today on ‘Romantics in Recession’, Theo Ensworth talks to Romantic poet John Keats about his recent experience of redundancy, his encounters at the job centre, and the difficulties facing young writers of nineteenth century English nature poetry in today’s Britain.

Radio Fore - Unusual Lives: Brian Parker

Brian Parker is a Druid. He is 39 years old and lives in Tinsley. As well as fulfilling his duties as High Seer of the Light for the Tinsley Circle of Druids & Wood Dwellers, he also works at a local call centre, dealing with customer complaints for a well known ISP. We visited Brian last February as he went about his daily activities, both pagan and modern, and made preparations for a trip he would only describe as his ‘holiday’.
