ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਲੋਕਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝੀਵਾਲਤਾ, ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਬੱਤ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ ਦਾ ਪਾਵਨ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਧੰਨ ਧੰਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਇਕਲੌਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੁਗੋ-ਜੁਗ ਅਟੱਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਰੁਤਬਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ, ਗੁਰਿਆਈ ਦਿਵਸ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਤੀ-ਜੋਤਿ ਪੁਰਬ ਬੜੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਤਿੰਨ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਅਹਿਮੀਅਤ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ: ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ (ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼) ਸੰਪੂਰਨਤਾ ਦਿਵਸ (ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿਆਰੀ) ਗੁਰਿਆਈ ਦਿਵਸ (ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਗੱਦੀ ਸੌਂਪਣ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ) ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ (1604 ਈ.) ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਰਾਮਸਰ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਪਾਵਨ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਸੰਪਾਦਨਾ ਕਰਵਾਈ। ਇਸ ਪਾਵਨ ਬੀੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪੰਜ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ, ਭਗਤ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ, ਭੱਟ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸੰਪਾਦਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਸੰਨ 1604 ਈਸਵੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਚਖੰਡ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਬਾਬਾ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਹੈੱਡ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੀ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਮੁੱਖਵਾਕ ਸਰਵਣ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਸੰਪੂਰਨਤਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ (1706 ਈ.) ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੰਪਾਦਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਸਲ ਬੀੜ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਧੀਰਮੱਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਸੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੀੜ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਛੱਡਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਤਸਰ ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਦੋਂ ਦਸਮ ਪਿਤਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਸਾਬੋ ਕੀ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ (ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਦਮਦਮਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ) ਪਹੁੰਚੇ, ਤਾਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਪਾਵਨ ਬੀੜ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਪੂਰਨਤਾ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਗਈ। ਲਿਖਣਹਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ: ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਿਖਣਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਅਸਥਾਨ 'ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਸਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਮਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਬਾਬਾ ਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਲਮਾਂ ਘੜਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਹੀ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਨੌਵੇਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦਰਜ ਹੋਣਾ: ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਵੇਲੇ ਨੌਵੇਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਦਸਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ 1706 ਈਸਵੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੌਵੇਂ ਮਹਲੇ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਇਸ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਰੂਪ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ। ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ: ਇਸੇ ਪਾਵਨ ਧਰਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ ਵੀ ਸਰਵਣ ਕਰਵਾਈ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ 40 ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕਤਿਆਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਚੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਕਲਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਬਚਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਅਸਥਾਨ 'ਤੇ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਤੀਖਣ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਗੁਰਤਾਗੱਦੀ ਦਿਵਸ (1708 ਈ.) ਸੰਨ 1708 ਈਸਵੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਂਦੇੜ (ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ) ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕ ਕੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਹਧਾਰੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੁਕਮ ਸੁਣਾਇਆ: ਸਭ ਸਿੱਖਨ ਕਉ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਾਨਿਓ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ॥ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰੂਪ ਦੀ ਬਣਤਰ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਸਰੂਪ ਹੀ ਅੱਜ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਭਾਇਮਾਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪਾਵਨ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਹੈ: 6 ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਾਣੀ 15 ਭਗਤ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ 11 ਭੱਟ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਵਈਏ 4 ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ, ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਕੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਸਫਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮਾਰਗ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
