‘MARTIN CAMPBELL’ ROOTS REGGAE MIX (RebelMusic510 Mix)

Track List: GIVE ME THE MONEY LOVE HAS LEFT THE LAND CAN BETTER REALLY COME? MR. WATCHMAN GUNMAN A COME BAD PROPAGANDA BADMAN CONTROL WAR & PLUNDER STOP YOUR LYING GIRL JAH VICTORY REBELMUSIC OUTRO 'Never judge a book by its cover.” Smooth, Gangster, Lover, Real, Rebel, Rootsman. A true hidden gem of Roots Reggae during the Golden Era of Roots Reggae Music in Jamaica. Martin Campbell was born in Germany, in 1955. When he was two years old his family moved to Jamaica. He soon discovered a talent for music and by the age of seven was an accomplished pianist! After spending two years at the famous Alpha Boys' School, Martin moved on to Military school. He also joined the Sea Cadets where his aptitude for music was encouraged and he learnt to play the Side Drum and Bugle. The Sixties During the mid sixties, Martin and his family moved to Halfway Tree. Around the same time he obtained his first (Grundig) tape recorder. His early recordings were of the songs he played on the piano – but it later lead to greater things! In 1968 the family moved to Southern England. The Seventies With Martin's love of Jamaican music it wasn’t long before he began regularly picking up the latest Reggae releases from a local shop. Amongst his early influences, he cites Horace Andy, Dennis Brown, and Fred Locks. Martin says of the music of those times: “Back in those days, when they used real musicians, plus the combination of good quality recording equipment and techniques, the result was a very tight sound, with a very heavy bottom (Bass) end.” In 1979, Martin Campbell set up his first studio using a 4 track Teac recording deck combined with an Alice 8 track mixing desk. The Eighties On a visit to Kingston in 1982, Martin checked out Channel One’s studio on Maxfield Avenue. The Hookim brothers were there recording, using a 2” 16 track tape machine and were in session with studio engineer, Barnabus at the controls. The sound that Barnabus was achieving blew Martin away! He decided then and there that this was the equipment to be used to achieve the ‘Yard Sound’ that he (and others) would like and respect. The Birth of Channel One (UK) On a subsequent trip, Martin got to know Jo Jo Hookim, who was a major influential figure in his life. As a result of their conversation, the Channel One (UK)® label was set up as an outlet for Campbell’s work. The Man on His Music Martin Campbell outlines his philosophy on the music that he arranges, produces and sometimes sings, “My main aim is to continue to build and provide Roots-Reggae rhythms with a certain ‘feel’ or character for artists to voice. I think that the pace of the World is moving too fast and sometimes it’s nice just to slow the tempo a little. There’s plenty of the usual styles of music around, but I’d like to try and preserve something that’s more lasting and more permanent. After all, why should everything sound the same? It just becomes boring and staid.”

Albums like “GAS CHAMBER” , "TALES FROM THE CRYPT”, “THE AUTOPSY”, “ONE LIFE TO LIVE” and many more. C-BO remains underground and has never sold out to Hollywood. POLAR SHIFTS (Original)

Pole Shift (magnetic): A shift in “magnetic” poles is one of the more common and accepted theories across the world, however, this is not to be confused with those that speak of a “geographic” pole shift. Even though these events can occur at the same time, they actually have quite different affects on Earth. Because of this, we will address these events separately as a “magnetic” pole shift and a “geographic” pole shift. Scientists have now concluded that Earth’s “magnet” poles do flip 180 degrees in what’s commonly called a “pole shift”. There are many theories as to the frequency of the shifts in magnetic poles which range anywhere from 10,000 years to almost 800,000 years. Research into these magnetic reversal events has come through analysis and measurement of the magnetic fields of rock that are located on the surface and within Earth's crust. Their measurements show that the magnetic field of some rock are exactly the opposite of the current magnetic poles. By carbon dating these rocks, scientists have attempted to determine when the last magnetic pole shift may have occurred. The commonly accepted theory is that Earth's electromagnetic field, as well as the magnetic North and South Poles are created from either the spinning of Earth's core or the mantle (hot molten lava) under Earth's crust. This means that the direction and speed of the spinning magma are directly responsible for the position of the magnetic North and South Poles, as well as the strength of Earth's electromagnetic field. This also means that a magnetic pole flip requires the magnetic field of Earth to become opposite in relationship to the Earth's crust. In other words, either the magnetic poles move 180 degrees while Earth's crust remains in the same position or Earth's crust moves 180 degrees while the magnetic poles remain in the same position. One of these two events must have occurred in order to support the evidence of a magnetic pole shift in Earth's past history.

    N.W.A "STILL F' THE POLICE" (RebelMusic510 Mix)

NWA is one of the most influential Hip Hop groups of all time. Other then maybe RUN DMC, no other group has impacted the Hip Hop/Rap culture like NWA. The first group to lay claim to the founders of Gangsta Rap. Dr Dre, MC. Ren, Ice Cube, and Easy E brought a message to the world that reflected the ghettos across America. Products of poverty and especially POLICE BRUTALITY that was so common and still is today. You can even make a argument that it has gotten worse. Other groups were like ICE T(Syndicate), Too Short, IMP, Oaklands “415”, were in the mix during this emerging underground sound that was ready to blow up in the late 80's. NWA didn’t just bubble into fame. They blow the whole fu#king world up! There Hard & Ruff is still unmatched and still played across America and the world. These are some off my favorite tracks from the late 80’s to the Dre album that came out August 2015 Track List Also Includes Solo Projects: STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON FUCK THE POLICE FUCK THE POLICE PT 2 APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION NO MORE ?’S RUTHLESS VILLIAN WE WANT EASY 187um WE HAD TO TEAR THIS MOTHAFUCKA UP THE DAY THE NIGGAZ TOOK OVER NIGGAZ 4 LIFE APPROACH TO DANGER ON THE BLVD. STEADY MOBBIN’ STILL DRE ALL BULLSHIT ASIDE GAME OVER LET THE BASS GO TALKING TO MY DIARY THE DAYZ OF WAYBACK REBELMUSIC510 OUTRO MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT TO NWA FOR ALL THE GREAT MEMORIES AND GREAT MUSIC.
