Thyagu returns to the pod crew to discuss movies, some cricket, some politcking and a lot of autos. The sound quality still continues to be subpar but work and investment is being done. Or so one hopes.

The pod is back. Some might argue that the pod never went anywhere in the first place but juvenile arguments aside, the pod is back, and back with mostly the same nonsense and some new. Trump, Cricket, Movies are all covered, as ever, and well of course, the L&T Chairman makes an appearance.

Where the pod starts off with the Ukraine war, meanders striahgt into the chip war, and then takes a sharp turn into Thunivu, Mallu movies, and Mari Selvaraj on Kamal before settling on some silliness at Twitter. 

Where the pod meanders - rather unpreparedly - through the budget, wades into the Hindenburg row, samples some bloody sweet Leo, plays through the Asia and indeed the World Cups and finished on the passing of Gen. Musharraf and Vani Jairam.

Where the pod continues to look back at 2022. Why, is as yet unknown. Lack of content, most likely.

Where the pod has an anti-movie agenda with topics as diverse and broad-ranging as the India Pakistan match, the tensions between Rohit and Virat fans, RaGa's yatra, Stalin and PTR and DNA tests in Gujarat. Oh and happy deepavali, folks. Belatedly, anyway.

Where the pod moves with the stars to unravel Ranjith's latest. 

Where the pod starts off with RaGa and the RSS, veers into Xi amongst other international news and, of course, talks a bit about some movies including PS1 and other myriad nonsense. 

Where the pod pays respects to the departed Queen (long live the Queen), talks about the eternal Indian prince-in-waiting, moves around the non-burning jungles looking for cheetahs, and then talks about other bits and bobs, mostly nothing. 

Where the pod tries to stick to 30 minutes but fails uncatastrophically (though without the intro and the outro, the content is still less than 30 minutes - and, per usual, less than 2 minutes of anything non-nonsensical). Lincoln records, Sun news and indeed all and sundry are discussed. 

Where the pod returns amidst rejoicing amongst few (perhaps the hosts only, perhaps) and widespread facepalming amongst the many (perhaps the audience) with a meta episode that discusses what the new season will look like, and how money may be made. Not that anyone cares, of course. 

Where the pod begins with PS1 (not the Sony or the gundumani one), moves on swiftly to India's Oscar entry (not Ravichandran) and then to Varisu, Rajith, Ayeshari, Coimbatore, DD News and British politics. The end note is a rather solemn note with a nod to the passing of Pratap Pothen with a fitting outro tribute. 

Where the pod starts with an innocuous whatsapp greeting and then goes full politico with fiery discussions on Agnipath and, religious rabble-rousing about the RSS and great opinions about Maharashtra, finishing with some onion rings which, contrary to popular belief, are just so.

Where the bigguns, Mr. Kumar joins the pod to discuss the recoming of the Nayagan with all the big guns of the latest installment of the LCU - Vikram.

Where the pod begins in legandary fashion, veers on to Vikram-related topics, looks back at 35 years of Nayagan, jumps in and out of short reviews of an assortment of movies and shows before finishing with the replacement for Valimai update.

Where the pod begins at sunnambu kaava, moves on to not-so-fantastic beasts, and ends with some high-tea, with segues into badminton, Nepal incursions, TR's Hindi excursions, biryani-related news items and some touching upon Vikram and GVM. 

Where the pod starts discussing parties attended by politicians, and meanders towards political parties themselves with detours though some movies, international news and myriad other nonsense.

Where the pod meanders from one thing to the other touching diverse topics such as Beast, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, the IPL, one person Marathoning-from-home,  Edharthu Thevaillada,  Mic Mohan's filmography through the lens of his comeback, twitter, other social media, and ends with a discount on Sunny Leone. Well, not exactly but sort of.

Where the pod delves into world-level topics such as the fallout of war, of national-level topics such as some files of Kashmir, and of local-level topics such as Mr. Rangan's next destination. Oh, and there are also some mega monologues by one host, with said host, channeling his inner-SPB, or so he thought.

Where the pod delves into the war in Ukraine but not before flipping the script by providing the Valimai update first. And post-war (in the pod, anyway), moves on to other matters such as movies, randomness, and a goodbye to Warne. 

Where the pod meanders bladely toward Gandhi Mahans, Romanians in Coimbatore, and godmen advising the NSE.

Where there is meandering discussions that envelope everything from Trudeau being a national disgrace to a 19 year old flying the globe with grace. In between, there are pitstops at the Canadian economy, resignation of German navymen, tennis, mythology, a meta-wedding, and wellofcourse #chennaisnow

A new year brings a new season, and, with it, the same old rubbish. This time, however, there is less cinema and more general nonsense including (but not limited to) Netflix, Kazakstan (not Borat), renaming India, the UP elections, Djokovic, and the virus. Oh, and Valimai, well, remains to be the gift that keeps on giving. 

Where the pod gets stuck into a time-loop of the usual self-referential nonsense, get out of it to discuss the time loop of Maanaadu, make some segues into random nonsense, get to the Biryani at the end, and, at the end, provide Valimai controversy and burning Tesla news. 

Where we are joined again by Kumar (or, as one of the hosts calls him, "big gun") to have a "serious" discussion about Jai Bhim that takes detours through such places as Superstarville, RandomNewsTown, and a Coimbatore Navy base.

Where there is discussion about movies that have been watched / not watched / will never(?) be watched amongst some flood talk, some vaccine talk, and a whole lot of completely useless talk. 

Where there is live recorded intermittent commentary of India-Pakistan interspersed with talk about Vinodhaya Sitham, Blue Shirt's Anti-Indian, Friendship, Sardar Udham, the chronological-taxonomical-nomenclature of the Aranmanai-Muni-Kanchana axis, Ted Lasso, and, wellofcourse, sir makes an entry, and so does SRK's family travails.

The episode that is officially worse than that rendering of Thooriga where, despite the best efforts of the host, Darlings are discussed. 

Where there is a clear dip in audio quality (there cannot be a dip in quality itself for there is nowhere more to dip) because of a first-time-ever live recording of the session. There was discussion of Family Man and a couple of other things - most importantly one number of epic fish meals.

Where there is a long long overdue talk of the anthology that is Navarasa. All the usual suspects make an appearance, and a couple of unusual ones do as well. And wellofcourse, the 60 minute barrier has been surpassed. 

Where Kumar from the Idli Vada pod joins us again to discuss another movie - Pa. Ranjith's Sarpatta Parambarai, this time. There is discussion on the film with healthy detours into the realms of this, that and mostly the other.

Where there is a wide-ranging discussion on topics ranging from Good days to bad days, to just days. Films - tamil, malayalam, English are touched upon and even a boy in Himachal gets a mention. Oh, and there is a completely random realization of having done two years of podcasting - if this maybe deemed such. Mostly blade but sprinkling of some fun stuff. Also, it is apt that is episode is 404. Ha!

Where Kumar from the Idli Vada pod joins us to discuss Jagame Thanthiram amongst other things like MNM, Kamal, GVM, betterment of the pod, so on, and so forth. 

Where there is discussion about the soon-to-come Jagame Thanthiram, the has-already-come Karnan, the never-should-have-come Radhe, some mild political detours, and the whatnot. 

Where there is a change in season number that is, in no way related to a change in government or indeed the change in the actual natural season. There is governmental talk, talkie talk, corona talk, and #wellofcourse random talk. 

Where there is a celebration of Vivek, his acting, his comedy, and him, in general, strewn with a myriad of other usual nonsense that, well, is standard fare, it would seem by now.

Where the art of talking about one movie has been mastered, and other such / not such terrible puns. There is also a brief segue into the world wonder that is Easwaran and other myriad things.

Where there is #RagaUpdate, #ValimaiUpdate, and myriad other updates that may / may not really have a point to them. And #wellofcourse there is an excellent outro that may / may not be a reimagining of #RaGa as Keechan.

Where there is conversations re. politics, cinema, pop culture, and all in between and absolute no conversations re. Simbu or his brother and other non-discussed things. 

Where Kumar from IdliVada (the podcast formerly known as South Talkies) joins us again to discuss another movie (at least, between all the other random deviations and distractions) - Arangetra Velai. There is talk of Fahzil, Prabhu, Revathi, the music, the dance, and of course of VK. Even Major makes a minor appearance, and, wellofcourse, obligatorily, so does one Mr. Menon.
