Not even a heavy downpour in the Swiss mountains could halt the progress of the 2010 Cliff Diving World Series as Gary Hunt got back to his best to win for the fourth time in five and build an almost unassailable Series lead. Hunt leads closest rival Orlando Duque by 19 points with just one stop to go.

The athlete has just nailed his dive, entering the water at 90km/h, and is now receiving the cheers and adulation of the spectators. An emotional Artem Silchenko finally got the victory he craves as the 2010 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series was thrown wide open in Polignano a Mare. In front of more than 40,000 people a mistake from Series leader Gary Hunt, who was still practicing a new dive, was all the Russian needed to grab victory and reduce the gap on his rival.
